A brand new start

I knew If I searched hard enough I would find you here it was on page 2 but I found you none the less. Had to come in and be the first to tell you good morning. Hope you have a great day today honey!

Hey where you been get your booty back in here!!! hehehe hope your doing good we miss you!

Gone for a week and look at all the Christmas cheer hanging off these siggies!
I'm here. I just ran into some computer trouble. (Who knew I'd ever be missing you all so...) Anyway. I'm here. Thank you ladies, for looking out for me!
Went walking at the mall today. This mall is just not designed for two seater strollers. I mean, Aaron and Sam and the stroller is about 100 pounds, so it is already a workout for my legs and arms, but this mall is just lots of tight corners. I was exhausted! That and I ran the poor kids into the railings on the skinny ramps several times! LOL
I have to admit that the only thing separting me from the return of my lardbutt is my walks. I really am thankful that the Lord sent me to this group of ladies that walk at the park (and the mall when the weather isn't so great).
Oh, well, I'm off to catch up in your diaries!

newbride,
Thanks for cheering me on!
Had a fun day. After church dh and I took the kids out to the mall in Greenville. OMGosh, there was a Pottery Barn! drooldrooldrool! Anyway. We did a lot of walking and I got some presents bought. That's good since we went to dinner at Steak and Shake and I reinvested in a caloric egg nog shake. But, what is Christmas shopping without an egg nog milkshake. You should've seen 2 year old Sam with his vanilla shake (less stain potential...), "Sam Shake," he kept saying. Too cute.
I've got a walk planned for tomorrow morning. Walk, walk, walk...
right now I am off to do a little online shopping...

It's the most fattening time of the year...

MMMM Egg nog shake, you are right what is shopping without one I feel that way about those Big greast pretzels in the mall...LOL. anyway darlin just wanted to come in and wish you a good Monday!!

Awe kids are too cute aren’t they. Mate I think you will have to shield me one slip and im gone lol. I hope you are having a wonderful week.

Oh, my. Has it been a week since I've been in here?! I'm just plodding along. I really have been indulging this week. I feel myself giving myself permission to just get through the holidays and then "fix it" next week. I think I am just feeling sorry for myself for blowing it with the steady traffic of food into my mouth all weekend. I had my group of mommies over for a cookie exchange on Thursday and then I had the church over on Friday and the house is just aglow with food. I can't walk this week because Aaron is home so I'm promising myself that I will walk the dvd this week. I've just got to get through this week and then a week with family. If I can keep up the walking the damamge should be minimal or at least managable. Are we going to have a challenge for the New Year?

Oh i think we definatly should! WE will all need it i'm sure!

I just read your entry in my diary, you poor thing! Isn't it funny later?

Hope you survived the weekend, and the christmas season so far!!

Hey sweetie just wanted to come check in on you. A cookie exchange sounds so fun. I wish I could of came...LOL. Well darlin just wanted to pop in and say good morning and see how you are doing. Hope you had a great weekend and even a better Monday.

Good morning ladies. Thanks Julie and Newbride, for popping in to say hi! Makes me smile to see your posts!
Newbride, Ah, the wonderous things they do that I hope I will find funny later! This morning, while I was in the shower, Sam (2) ate half a roll of bubble gum tape. I came out of the shower as he was balling up the second handful. Sheesh. His cheeks are full of bubble gum powder and I scared that he will never poop all that gum out!!! That kid already has several scrapbook pages devoted to his quite, yet destructive nature. :)
Julie, I think we should work on a virtual cookie swap for next Christmas! Maybe we could all be on at the same time eating our treats while swapping recipes.
Interestingly enough... I bought last month's issue of Cooking Light. They featured a cookie swap. I made one of the recipes (chocolate cherry cookies). And, although they were good, they were on the small-ish side and still 80 calories. I guess it all equals out since I bought light egg nog, right?
