5x5 Deadlifts!

The dimensions on the power tower are intimidating, mostly because of the length of the legs. I actually have a small bench at my parents house that I could use to do incline bench if I want. It all depends on how the power tower fits.

I already posted this, but it disappeared, so I'll post it again.

It's not much, but it will get the job done. I'll have to move equipment as needed, but it's better than doing nothing at all.

As you can see, I've planted myself right in the middle of my girls playroom. Now, half of it is daddy's playroom. They don't seem to mind. The oldest is fascinated with my lifting. Perhaps an added side affect of this will be kids who want to be in shape and healthy.

Little Chest workout to break in the new stuff.

Dips - Body Weight 3x5
Incline Bench - 115lbs 3x8
Military Press - 65lbs 3x8
Overhead Tricep Extensions - 45lbs 3x8

I was surprised that I did the incline bench as easily as I did. I'm not complaining though. I'm going to like this whole training at home thing.

It didn't disappear so much as it smuggled itself into some old guy's thread.

There is something very nice about training in easy reach of the sofa. Means you can give it beans and know you don't have to leave anything in the tank to get home.

Yeah, not sure how I managed to do that.

That's exactly what I did too. As soon as I was done, I walked straight to the couch, sat down and watched hockey. I'm thinking I'm going to like this.

I'm going to regret this tomorrow..

Squats - Bar(45lbs) 3x12 - 135lbs 6x8
Hack Squats - 135lbs 3x6
Front Squats - 65lbs 3x6

The volume alone was enough to have me crawling through the house when I was done. I'm pretty sure I'm nuts for even considering doing this three times a week.

It's been a while since I trained two days in a row. I'm starving! Contradicting that statement, I'm trying to cut, so I figure I'll have a routine that kind of looks like this..

Sunday - Chest/Tri's
Monday - Squats
Tuesday - Off
Wednesday - Deads/Back/Bi's
Thursday - Chest/Tri's
Friday - Squats/Arms
Saturday - Off

My actual training time is only going to be around 30 minutes per session. It's been a very long time since I've trained this much in a week, so I'll have to ease myself into it, especially as sore as I am from what I did yesterday. I would like to get up to sets of 8x8 on most of my exercises. I would like to be as conditioned as I once was before my jobs and gyms got all screwed up.

Only red flag I see is Thursday Tris Friday Arms. Your routine is arms heavy anyway so I would say just Bis on Friday would be cool.

Short and intense on the workouts then. Good stuff.

Yeah, that "Arms" should be "Bi's" for Friday. It will really only be a combo of overhanded and underhanded curls for my bi's and forearms.

I really do need to focus more on my arms though if I want to put any size on them. Being as tall as I am, I once was curling 100lbs for reps and my arms weren't getting any bigger than 18 inches. They're so long. It sucks for size.

Not really DOMS as the onset was on time, more the body realising it hadn't ached quite enough the day after and needed to put in more of an effort to make you walk like the toilet wasn't close enough.
I give a spherical colleague a short lift and it is a good sign of how much I am aching when he can get out of the car faster and easier than I can.

I was leaving my house this morning for work and having a painful time walking down the three stairs of my deck and I'm pretty sure my neighbor across the street waiting for the bus with her child was staring at me the whole time.
