well done!!!:)

Thanks but remember the Biggest Losers lose 30+ lbs a week. If I can lose 30 a month, I will be very happy! :driving:

16lbs in 2 weeks.. wow. That's MENTAL! Huge congratulations on your success! I'm jealous - but in a 'happy for you' kind of way, haha!

Brilliant work! Hope you've taken some before pictures so you can show us your 'after' ones with a good comparison! :D

Keep it up!

Yikes that is insane! Well done. Especially on the 90 mins a day exercise. It sounds like so much, but I guess I've recently started cycling to work 3-4 days a week and that works out at 2 hours of exercise a day, but that feels different from going into your basement and seriously working out...

Keep it up - I'm going away to read up on rotational diets!!

Thanks jjjay! If you look at my diary of July of 2011 you will see the modifications that I made to Katahn's Rotation Diet.:beerchug:

Lost 24 lbs for Month. 6 short of my Goal of a 30 lbs loss, but I confess that I did binge quite a bit during the last week especially when I visited my Daughter at Music Camp. However, my goal was aggressive so I can live with about a 25 lb loss per month.

Are you kidding me? 24 lbs in a month is incredible!!! You should feel very accomplished with that. Amazing, amazing! Congrats!!! (I will be super excited for you if you won't be :) )

AvaTea, I lost 60 lbs last year but got off my plan, stopped coming here and gained back 30 lbs. So I guess that is why I am reserved about my current loss. I have to stay on my rotation diet & exercise plan for at least 3 more months to meet my goal. Then I must maintain that weight to be satisfied. But of course I am pleased whenever I lose 20+ lbs in one month. :driving:

I started remodeling my house. I had to unload my refrigerator to install flooring in the kitchen. 2 orders from Lowe's arrived damaged so I cancelled Lowe's order and ordered the flooring from Home Depot and I am keeping my fingers crossed that HD will supply undamaged flooring. Consequently, I've been eating fast food (mainly cheeseburgers) for the past month, but I got a small (dorm-like refrigerator) and stuffed it with Healthy Choices Dinners, so now I am back on my Diet. My Goal is to lose 80 lbs. by 12/1/12.

Hi Free - thankyou for visiting my diary & for sharing the link to yours ..

- I really appreciate you sharing your sucess with Katahn's Rotation diet - I've had a couple slow weeks - but reading thru your log - I am Major inspired & fired up - it definately looks like the exercise at 1 & 1/2 - 2hrs / day is a big Key to success, along with the Very structured calorie rotation you devised...

Amazing journey dude ! ....and your rate of weight loss - up to 5lbs. average /week some weeks - just amazing :hurray::hurray::hurray:

~ I did just start increased exercise this past week - & did jump too fast - & got a knee injury- it did settle really quick ( 1 day) - .... but I will be careful how hard I push on the exercise....Injury - major ick to slowing/stopping the success....

~ I like the food choices on your modified plan , and the calories are all within my limits for BMR / weight-loss calories for my current weight/age/height....so I am thinking should work for me ( I totally agree that the LOW-cal days on Katahn ( was 600/900 for me as a gal)- way too low to do for any number of days - was starving - usually caved/broke diet by late afternoon.

~ & I like your idea of including booze ! ( glass of wine ).....most diets say NO alcohol...but that didn't seem to mess-up your success any ! ....I do find a bud-light mojito beer a really nice, filling, treat ( at 117 cals)....am thinking might include that one for my self on weekends.

~ I am not a smoker ( sadly)...so the cigars won't be happening for me....but tobacco/smoking definately a good appetite suppressant - probably was a plus on your plan ...so I expect my loss would be lots slower ....but still am hopeful the exercise & calorie rotation will give my scale a good kick...

~ again ,

many thanks for sharing info on your success, & your thread totally FUN to read ( 4LoFat sure one tuff cookie on ya - but I'm thinkin' he was just the ticket to keep U truckin.....) - & totally inspiring - definately gave me a "kick-start" that I was muchly in need of,

~ keep up your re-do on the re-loss .....hard to stick to a routine when your home is torn-up/reno-ville... but U know U can do it ! :smash:

cheers, Maryann C.

U R Welcome! Yes U must be careful exercising, Maryann. I only do non stressful exercing like biking, rowing & stair-stepping. I have a 3 story house so remolding I get a lot of stair-stepping in.

As Hemmingway said, "Wine makes life civilized." The 1200 cal days would be unbearable without a glass or 2 of wine. Also I find that K Paul seasonings make otherwise bland frozen diet meals decent. In fact much better than most of the restaurants here in Nashville.

I've given up the cigars. :sifone: Trying to be healthy as well as fit.

Thank U for your comments! The exchange of ideas here is really helpful. :driving:

I'd be a Dead Man today, if I had not been doing Yoga and exercising for the past month.

Loaded 30 boxes of hardwood flooring into my Van last night. Took several boxes into the house which was no small feat. Decided to do my first floor living room, Dining room and Hallway all in wood.

My greatest fear is that I put on a pound or two of muscle.

Today is a 1200 cal day so I think I will take it easy after Yoga in my basement studio. Maybe just paint the trim around patio door and touch up the wood paneling. Days like this I appreciate the finer points of detail work.

:coolgleama:

I'm happy to find I lost another lb even with the heavy lifting. That makes 5 lbs so far this week with 3 more days to go. I hope to lose 10 or 11 this 1200/1500 Rotation week.:driving:

Hey Free, good work on moving all that hardwood - bet U burnt a lot of calories ! ....and what a great week U are into - 5lbs. & rollin....U Rockin' it this week,

~ glad to hear U gave the cigars the boot - they're not good for anyone. - :toetap05:

...renoing the house , burning some calories - win - win !

cheers, Maryann

Thanks Maryann! Don't have to do any exercising with all this work. Just about 20 mins of Yoga in the morning. :driving:
