50 lbs Down & 50 to Go!

I decided to carry on with the Diary that I started last Summer. On my modified rotation diet I lost nearly 70 lbs, then stopped dieting and exercising and gained 30 back which is not as bad as I expected. Now I'm back on 1200/1500 rotation.

Hi Free,

well done on coming back and making this happen for yourself :)

is that 90 lbs by around the end of October?

My goal is to lose 90 lbs by the first of September. I know it is ambitious but I like to set difficult weight loss goals so if I fall short I am not terribly disappointed.:auto:

7 lbs/Week, 30 lbs/Month is definitely doable on Rotation Diet. I have done it before. After the 1st 40-50 lb loss, it gets more difficult but if I get my exercise routine up to 90 mins a day, I can maintain it beyond 50 lbs. :coolgleama:

So Free what is your current weight now? Also do you feel someone would lose more weight doing 1200cals one day and 1500 another day etc for a week than a person who would consume 1200 cals a day?:)

293 :) All I know is the 1200/1500, 1800/1500, 1200/1500, 1500-2100 Rotation works for me. If I had stayed on it past August of last year I would be down to 190 which is my ultimate goal.:driving:

I found that having only 1200 Cals for 3 days straight was just too hard for me. That is why I now alternate to 1500 every other day. I am on 1500 today and I feel satisfied. I also modified the second week to an 1800/1500 alternation. And I added a 4th week with a 1500 to 2100 rotation increasing intake by 100 cals per day.

Lost 6 lbs in 2 days since getting back on my modified Rotation Diet. When I was Katahn's Rotation Diet, I always dreaded the three straight days on 1200 cals, but by changing the rotation where I alternate 1200/1500 each day it is much easier to stick to. I expect to be down 30 lbs by the end of June. Btw, I am smoking cigars again.:sifone:

Set 4 Exercise 7 Days a Week now! I have my Rowing Machine, Weights, Stationary Bike & Cable TV set up in my basement now so I can exercise at least 40 mins a day, 7 Days a week now. I am determined to lose 90 lbs in 90 Days. :driving:

Lost 7 lbs in 5 Days. A little less than I hoped for but I took my Daughter to a Radio Head Concert in Cinncinati so it was hard for me to keep track of my Diet & Work Out on the trip. If I can lose 9 lbs for the week I will be happy.

Thanks IP! Key is to keep Diary going. I started getting off track when I stopped journaling. I've got my Rotation Diet and Exercise program down to a science now. It looks like a loss of 30 lbs a month is realistic on my modified Rotation Diet and 90 mins of exercise per day. :driving:

Lost 10 lbs so far this Week with 1 more 1200 Cal Day to go! If I can just make it through today without binging, I will be well on my way to a 30 lb loss for the month. :driving:This may have to be a 2 Cigar Day. :sifone:

Binged Last Night. Those who know of my binging problem, know it wreaked havoc with my diet last Summer. Fortunately I only splurged by 300 Cals, 1200 to 1500 so I did not go to far off my Rotation and still was within Katahn's guidelines for 4 1500 days Week One as opposed to my Rotation of 1200 Cals for 4 Days. :)

Lost 11 lbs for Week. That is one pound less than I wanted to lose but I am still on track to lose about 30 lbs for the month. I exercised every day for at least 90 mins. :driving:
