:) rotation diet... maybe i should try it lol certainly works faster then what i m doing!!!!

It works for me.
 
Lost 1.4 pounds in the first 4 days of the week on 1500-1800 calories and an average of about 60 minutes of exercise. For the last 3 days of the week I will be on 1900-2100 calories so I don't expect to lose any more. At this rate, I will lose 20 to 25 pounds per my 4 week rotation.
 
Thanks Irishprincess! I am my hardest critic and I have not met my goals, but with my new rotation I think I can stay on the diet for however long it takes.
 
Lost 4 pounds on 1200 calories and 90 minutes of exercise.





But I have a confession to make. I binged the final 3 days of my 2nd week (1500-2100 calories)
 
Lost 1.4 pounds on 1500 calories and 50 minutes of exercise. I was really not motivated to exercise but I finally got in 50 minutes worth at 7:30 p.m. Better late than never.

I'm ashamed of my weight. I've lost nearly 70 lbs but at 6'2" & 255.6 lbs I'm still overweight. If that weight was all muscle on my large boned frame that might be acceptable for a linebacker for the NY Giants but for me it is not. When I lose another 30 lbs I will feel a lot better. For now, it is another 1200 and 90+ minutes exercise day.
 
After losing 5.4 lbs. On the first two days of 1200/1500 rotation my weight has stayed the same for the past 2 days. I have not binged and I have exercised at least 80 minutes a day and still no weight loss. It is very frustrating. Now that I am down nearly 70 pounds, I guess the weight loss is going to be much more difficult from here on. But I still may be able to lose my goal of 30 more pounds in the next 8 weeks.

Finally lost 1.6 after 3 days on 1200/1500 rotation.


I was about to have another 1800+ day. I am glad I stuck with the 1200/1500 rotation. I have 2 more days of it.
 
Well done on the 1.6 loss, im scared to try the rotation between 1200 and 1500 incase i gain weight lol

Thanks IrishPrincess! I weighed again after a 45 min. walk & I was down 2.6. So I guess I am retaining about a pound of water whereas I was retaining about 2 pounds. At this rate, I should lose about 15 pounds every 4 weeks compared to the 25+ pounds per 4 weeks. that I was losing when I was heavier.


You could try the 1200/1500 rotation and just weigh every day to see if it works for you. You should be able to make an assessment in about 4 days.

Congrats on all the weight you've lost so far! How much have you lost total now? (I miss having tickers, they're so useful!). What's your plan since you're off your diet? Are you going to stick to a certain amount of calories?


A little about me: I was part of the forum many years ago, lost 60 lbs, stopped, gained most back, got pregnant and had a baby, she's 7 months old soon, I've lost the baby weight but need to lose the rest! I have about 50-60 lbs to go!
