3rd Times a Charm!

She DOESN'T eat organic, she eats like CRAP!!! Shes even the first to admit that she doesn't understand why shes not all fat n floppy, but ohhh well. Such is life :rolleyes:

The recipe IS delish! I usually put a little almond extract in it, but tonight I did coconut extract- pretty tasty. I'm gonna hafta freeze some one of these days, see if its ice cream or cheese cake texture-y.

That sounds so delish!!! Do you buy the tub of cool whip? How do you mix in the creme cheese? I love cheese cake, omg, going to have to try it.

About what to wear in VEGAS:.....I think that jeans and t-shirts sound good! :iagree:....I'm a jeans and t-s kinda girl myself! But I do think that we are planning to probably go out to a club or something at night. If you don't have a dress, I think some black pants with a nice top will work, and something other than tennis shoes if you have them of course. I think that will make you fit right in! :iagree:......

lol, I went into panic mode, cuz there ARE no clubs in Montana. We have hick bars and sports bars. Wooo. So I found a cute shirt that'll look good with some black pants and some cute shoes(that I wore ONE time in a wedding, at least I'll get some use outta them). But the rest of the trip will be ts and jeans and flipflops. My favorite outfit :D I can't believe its so close!

Its so funny that you say that, cuz I went at midnight tonight(before reading the bonus, not that it mattered tonight anyway, tho) which was actually a bit EARLY for me! I'm gonna try all week to go early-ish since Friday is the last 24hour night... But anyway, yeah, I did an hour of cardio, so I'm kinda hoping to do that all week :) Buuut I agree, i don't wanna be at the gym all night long either :rolleyes: theres only so much good tv on that late. haha!

Yeah, the tub works the best, easier to measure. I usually do like 2 servings of each- 2servings of cool whip is only 40cal if you get sugar free, and 2 servings of cream cheese is only 60cal if you do fat free. SO- you get a decent sized serving, AND if you feel like you need more, you aren't hurting yourself with all the cals and sugar. Its probably the best thing I've ever stumbled across...
 
Tonights workout: legs. cardio: 1hr cross trainer, 4.53miles.

So I was pleasantly surprised tonight at the gym- I weigh myself everynight when I get there (yeah, I know not everyone agrees with this method, but it keeps me accountable :rolleyes: ) and put it in my palm with my workouts so I can see how my weight fluctuates and stuff thru the week. TOM started a few days ago, and usually during TOM my weight goes up at least two or three lbs, and it actually was DOWN! Woo! IF my weight is this number, I only need to lose 3 more lbs to reach a 20lb loss. I'm pretty excited about it :D When I hit that 20lb loss mark, I'll only be 9lbs higher than the lowest I got last time I lost a buncha weight... Oh man, I am so happy! I'll be happier when I've lost a total of eighty lbs or so, lol, but getting back to where I WAS will just make me feel a little better... When I get there, I will not be quitting again.. Not now that I actually have started learning new recipes, and LIKE to go work out, and can fit into smaller clothes :rolleyes: *sigh* thrilled. absoluttteeeelllly thrilled!

TOnights workout: Chest, cardio: 1.5hrs, 6.81miles.

I'm sweaty, sore, have some blasted cramps, bit of a headache, blehhh!!! I put in quite a lonnggg time at the gym tonight, felt good, but at the same time, it sucked, cuz I know that in afew days I'm gonna hafta start going earlier :( I'm going into Fitness19 with my sister on Thursday to get a membership there- SCREW OZ FITNESS! If they're taking away the 24hour bliss, I don't really wanna pay triple what I'd pay for better and newer equipment at Fitness19. I willllll hafta deal with more people around me while I sweat n' jiggle, but oh well, they way I see it- noone pays attention to fat people at the gym because HEY, at least I'm AT the gym :rolleyes:

With only a week left to workout and burn some fat before we go to Vegas, I almost feel like this is the "last chance workout" lol. Only, I don't have a free personal trainer, access to diet friendly food ONLY, and 14hours a day to workout, hahaha! That show is pretty much a joke. However, I can't help but watch. Guilty... it seems weird that I've put more miles in on the cross trainer in three days than I normally do in a week, and I DEFINATELY feel it, so I guess its a good thing. I'm super frustrated with my arms tho.. I've said it before, but jesus! They're grotesque- jiggly and huge. At this rate, I won't EVER wear sleeveless, lol! My shoulders look good, my back fat is getting smaller(yayyy!) my legs and stomach are gettin a bit smaller, but it seems like no matter how much I put into my arms, nothing gives. *sigh* maybe I may see about a personal trainer after Vegas? I don't know tho... its money that I don't really have :( on the other hand, I've got two employees with crazy amazing arms- maybe I should just ask for their help. feels weird tho.

Off to bed. I'm pooped!

Hi, first time stopping in. Looks like you do some great work outs, and have some killer motivation going on (also looks like I may not have popped in on your best day either, LOL).

Anyway, just breaking the ice, I'll check in again...

Your picture looks beautiful, YOU look beautiful! Ahhhh! I'm so proud of you!!!!!!!!!!! Just keep sticking with it, arms are hard!!! A trainer at the gym I go to told me arms are the hardest to start seeing any progress in because they are so used to being used everyday that they become complacent and it takes long, hard effort to knock some sense into them and get them looking how you want them to look! So don't worry and good luck this week!!!
 
Oooh I hate my arms too! I would definitely hit up your co-workers if you like how their arms look... Girl you are the SINGLE most dedicated person I know! Keep it up! It's going to pay off in the end. :) YOU ROCK!!!

"noone pays attention to fat people at the gym" - I have to agree. All the meatheads/really in shape people are always so focused on looking at themselves. It's something I've noticed :-X Whenever I see someone that's at the gym and in the same boat as me I will always silently cheer them on. I'm a loser lol

It's not your last chance workout! You'll be working out after you get back from Vegas, right?!

Keep on it, Jess. I'm sure you'll look absolutely fab for Vegas :)

Don't worry about working out with more people around, most gym members only care about what they are doing and not anybody else.

what exercises are you doing with your arms at the moment so I and the others here can make a few sugestions ?

I thought I'd stop by and say hi! I read a couple of your posts and it sounds like you have great workouts!! I wish my workouts were that good!! Right now I'm concentrating on eating habits and just started on the treadmill.. I'm going to start JM dvd soon.. as soon as TOM is better.. If the cramping went away I'd do it now but I'm waiting... anyways hope your having a great day!!

Yeah, that totally makes sense, kinda like legs- they carry you around allll the time, so I may never have skinny, hot legs. BUT, I have decent legs for a fat girl!

It IS weird having another Jes on here! :) I hope to one day be one of the "meatheads" (without the meat of course) that has a reason to check myself out while workin out, lol!

I only say last chance workouts cuz I wanna lose 3 or 4 more lbs in the next week... But I'll definately be sticking with it when I get back from Vegas, too.

I use machines- I know, I know, machines isolate, they don't train the WHOLE muscles, blah blah... I just hate free weights! I feel so awkward using them... Apparently I gotta start tho :rolleyes:
