3rd Times a Charm!

Tonight was back, did a few workouts, then did 30min on the bike again, and 20min on the treadmill. I'm super tired, gonna go to bed now, but I'll be back tomorrow :)
 
So I ordered some cute shoes from Torrid.com the other day for the wedding I gotta be in next month, and I originally liked them cuz they're like flipflops with a heel, but a bit dressier.

I love Torrid! They have one in the mall here. I remember when I went shopping there, they give you big flourescent pink bags that say Torrid. I called it "Horrid" cuz most people know it's a plus size store. I thought it was hilarious that I wore a size 2 pants there. I think it was a one or a two.

Yeah, theres no Torrids in Montana, so I'm big on online ordering. When I go on my vacations tho theres a torrid in the mall of america, so I get plenty of clearance buys :) ooohhh I love me sum cheap stuff...
 
Well, tonight at the gym was chest. I did presses, flat bench presses, and some calf workouts, and then did my 30min 11 miles on the bike and 20 minutes and 1mile on the treadmill. I only have 11 days of hard workouts left before I leave for my vacation, and that lovely sleeveless dress :rolleyes: and 15 days if I start doing some extra on my two nights off a week. Nothing to major, I like having set nights for different muscle areas, but just some extra cardio. Jeezzz, I realllllly wanna lose another 7lbs before then! And then while I'm on vacation, I'm really glad cuz my Grandma has a treadmill in the basement, and I'll bring my stretchy bands along. The really hard part is gonna be eating the good stuff... I do fine here at home, where its just myself and the only time I have temptation is when I create temptation, but my grandma is a KILLER cook.... sweets, and fried foods, and is alllways telling ya to eat something..lol. Typical grandma I guess :rolleyes: I'm just gonna hafta keep a constant eye on my calories, because if I wanna make my next to large goal by Christmas(sixty lbs) I can't afford any major setbacks.

So today I tried a recipe that I found- Chocolate Tofu Cake. Hmm. Its definately interesting. Not bad at all, I gotta say. Its not quite as fluffy as realllll cake, but at 53 calories a serving, howwww do you refuse?? I think I'd make it again, but I'll definately see what else I can do. Reallly getting into the swing of things with cooking, kinda like it. HATE the dishes, as I don't have a dishwasher, but eh. Thats life.

I have been eating the Smart Ones CHocolate cake, it's off the hook. I soften it up in the microwave, oh yeah baby.

Insane gym work. I have been throwing around the idea of going twice/week. Once during the week and once on the weekends. My free time to get exercise in is EXTREMELY limited so I have to figure out how to squeeze it in there. The thing is I don't want to half-ass it. We'll see.

As well, wanted to say that I grabbed some of that MSM, Glucosamine and some other thing that you suggested! :D Started taking that today as well I have started back on my multivitamins and calcium supplements.

And you can do 7 lbs in 2 weeks. It'll be tough but what fun would life be without challenges.
 
I have a goal, man. I want to be hot. Pretty superficial reasoning, cuz really, shouldn't I have something better for a goal... to wear hot clothing would make all the hard work in the world totally worth it :rolleyes:

Sparkrecipes.com!! No joke, ya can find some of the best and easiest recipes ever. I used to do the smart ones a lot- haven't in a while tho...Not sure why. I never even think about em when I'm going thru the freezer aisle, but you are correct- warm em up a titch, and they are a tasty lil snack :)

I HAFTA work hard at the gym...If I don't, something clicks in my brain that says, eh. You can make up the work tomorrow. Soooo I just try to push myself as hard as I can. One day the workouts will get a bit harder, but I can't seem to push much more without looking like I fell into the swimming pool :rolleyes:
I just started taking triflex, which is gluc, chon, and msm combined, cuz my knees are giving me HELL. so In the next coupla weeks I should be feeling a lot better to :)
 
So Thursday night I didn't make it on here to post my workout, I was BEAT. I refuse to go to the gym any other time of day (I go at 11:30pm, usually there an hour and a half or so) but it realllly wears on a person. Anyway, my workout that night was biceps and triceps, and then I did an hour on the bike and did almost 23 miles. BLEH. I was dripping sweat, my shirt was soaked, ICK! I don't really sweat a lot normally, but holy hunnies does cardio on the bikes do it to me.

Tonights workout was legs, and I'm not gonna lie- I was suppose to do weighted squats, but my knees aren't feeling pretty lately, so I didn't finish even ONE set. I did a few other leg workouts, but I feel bad cuz thats the first time I've "skipped" a workout. Did 30 minutes and 11 miles on the bike again, and 30 minutes and 1.67miles on the treadmill.

I pushed myself a little harder on cardio tonight, cuz I MIGHTA had a really bad Friday that is really worrying me tonight... I usually have Fridays as my "cheat" night, cuz its the only night of the week that I go out, right? Well, before we went out, we went to one of the greatest Mexican restaraunts in town, and I had chips and salsa, and two giant tacos, as well as a little bit of rice n beans. THEN we went to the bar, where I drank a TON of water, but just as much in booze, and afterwards we went to Perkins, and I had a huge hamburger and fries :( Thats the first hamburger n fries I've had in probably close to four weeks... So today, I weigh myself (Cuz I'm a chronic weigher, usually do it a few times a day :rolleyes: ) and its says GAINED 2 LBS! Oh I'm sooo horrified at my decisions. blehahhhh!
To top that off- I'm leaving town for two days cuz my grandpa's wife died, and the funeral is Thursday, so theres no gym Wed, Thur, and possibly Friday. AND my vacation came up real fast- I already leave next Wednesday. Soooo it doesn't look like I'm gonna make my 7lb goal, but I'm gonna try DAMN hard with what I've got left till then to get at least half that.
Gotta go to bed now- gonna try and force myself to wake up early in the am and jump on the treadmill for half hour or so....

As for pics: eh. We'll see, lol. I think I have horrible calves, almost as horrible as my giant bingo-wing arms... and I'm not sure how excited I'd be to post the pics, haha!
 
Tonight was my shoulder workout, and for cardio, eh. I slacked a bit..I've been doing an hour every night, but tonight I did 15 on the bike and 5.5miles, and 20 on the treadmill for just over 1 mile... not a realllll impressive workout, but in my defense, I've got a lotta shiznit to get taken care of before I leave. bleh. Not looking forward to all of it :rolleyes:
 
I did my normal workout, which was back, and then since I'm outta town for two days and will miss the gym both of them, I did tomorrows weights to, which is chest. Only did 30min on the recumbant, but it stilllll kills me how much I sweat when I do that!! Holy crap.

After I was done I had some edamame... first time I've had it, and it was actually pretty good :) I leave right after work to head to Baker for the funeral, and its a 3 hour drive, so I'm thinking of boiling some more edamame up and snacking on it on the way there. I hope it tastes good cold to..hmmm..

A little bit of good news to- I realize that Mondays are usually my "official" weigh in day, but tonight, after all the calories were eaten, and the work done, I was back to my pre-horrible Friday eating and drinking binge :) THANK GOD. Holy crap, I was sooo upset about it.. But even with missing two days at the gym, I'm gonna really try to get another lb. closer to my 7lb goal by next Wednesday. Gonna be a tuff one, I'm thinking. But I'm just keeping in mind that this time, I'm sticking to it. If I don't get as much workouts done as I'd like on vacation, well, I'll hafta double time it when I get done with vacation to make up for it.

Alrighty, well, I probably won't be back on here till Saturday or Sunday, so everyone have a great rest of the week and I'll see ya then :)
 
Hey Jess! WOw, your Friday night food festival reminds me of the old days. I would have been right along side you and probably would have took it even further with some chili cheese fries. LOL

Luckily there is no way you ate 7000 calories. So must be water weight from all the salt.

You are working out at 11:30?? dang girl. Last night I worked out from 9-10 and it took me over an hour to fall asleep. It was nuts.

Sorry to hear about your pappy's loss. Stay strong this week, you can meet your goal. Just do it!!
 
Well, Didn't go to the gym tonight :( was scrubbing my house, so I got a little done, yeah? I close at the store on Tuesday, so tomorrow night I'm gonna make up for not going tonight, I PROMISE! Jeez, every time I turn around I've got something else to get done: pay my utilities, pay my property taxes, phone bill, cash in my trip quarters( I save quarters all year till my vacation, almost $550 saved, so it works pretty well :D ), clean my house so the people taking care of pets don't think I'm a total slob, clean out my car, return some shoes, blah blah blah! The friggin list goes on! AND I still hafta work. Jeez. Can't catch a break, yo! Anyway, I'll be back tomorrow, with hopefully a good workout to report, AND a good Monday weigh in. :rolleyes: Heres hoping.
 
Gym last night and tonight were both a little rough because I've been doubling muscle groups in order to make up for missing days this week... Did 45min of cardio last night, only 35 tonight. Buuuut I feel it, thats all that matters!

I'm totally looking forward to a break from this place, and I get to leave in two days, THANK GOD!! I love my job, I love my house, etc., but SERIOUSLY. Sometimes ya need a break from it, breathe a little, spend lotsa cash and just chill. Ahhh, can't wait.

So I saw an infomercial for turbo jams tonight- and I've heard of it before, but I'm actually kinda intrigued by it... has anyone tried it, or know someone whos had good results with it?
