Thanx Ladies - I appreciate your concern - however I always function off of nothing, always have...Ive never gotten 6 hrs of sleep lol, and now I am working nights so most days I function off of 4 hrs of sleep and 9/10 hrs of work...I just have a busy life right now, it will start quitening down shortly...

Just because you've always functioned that way doesn't make it effective or a good excuse... you didn't always used to try to eat healthy and still manage to function...

Getting more sleep should be a priority... your brain, your children, and you deserve a good rest...

Wow Relly I'm so impressed with your eating lately. Just tiny little snacks here and there and such healthy stuff. We are very similar in our eating habits, I MUST keep bad for you items for sure! I'm just not that strict with myself so if I feel like having something then its a done deal..my successes are more keeping it to a small portion LOL.

Your daughter is very lucky to have such an attentive mother who works nights so she can spend days together. Please dont get annoyed for just adding that new studies show how important sleep is and that a lack of it causes brain degeneration and other major problems. When you get yourself situated please do try to focus on figuring out a way to get more sleep, you deserve and need it. OKAY! I'm a nag..SORRY AMIGA!!!

:D

Hey! Good job with your yummy foods lately. And I agree that sleep is important. I would look and feel like a zombie if I only got 4 hours of sleep every night. Is there ever a time you could maybe take a 1 or 2 hour nap during the day, then grab the 4 hours at night to try to get to 6 hours of rest? If you can, I would say it would be at least a worthwhile experiment.

I have to second what Mal said. I know you said you've been functioning on 4 hrs sleep for a long time...but you've been overweight for a long time too. Maybe some extra sleep will do you good?

I'll get off your back about it, I gave you my 2 cents, in the end of course, its your choice :)

Anyways, so summers here...loving the heat??? not me!! lol But its had a great inpact of what I eat, the heat just turns my appetite off. Got any fun weekend plans????

Korrie - Ive only been mega overweight for like 3 or 4 years...I came on this sight after all teh shit I went through with my x...the seperation really took its toll on me and that is when I started gaining mega weight...and since then I have been yo - yoing - loosing it and then gaining it back slowly...I was happy and content with myself prior to having my youngest, never really had any hang ups till I went through everything when my youngest was a baby...and then I decided it was time to take control and do something about it...which i have been...this time around seems harder...Anywya Im tired and not sure what Im babbling on abt , I will just leave it at that for now :)

I decided it was time to take control and do something about it...which i have been...this time around seems harder..

I know what you mean. This time around for me has been the hardest. The weight is coming off so slowly it seems, but alas some of it is gone. I was delusional thinking I could lose it faster. Those days of my fast metabolism are gone.

It might take us a while, but we'll get there. Hope you have a great weekend!

Hello Sunshine!
You posted points are you doing the weight watcher plan?? If so, I love that plan, it works for a lot of people, so if that's what your trying I'm happy to hear it!

I've been MIA for quite some time, so it would take me forever to get caught up on all you've been doing, but it seems your back on track from what I can read from your past three posts. I hear ya on the sleep thing, there was a point in time in the past when I was going through some rough patches and I couldn't sleep either, so I know all about that stuff. Luckily, when I got through it, my sleeping got better and honestly I can look back and say it all came from that naughty word "STRESS", once I left all that behind me, and no longer sweat the small stuff, I sleep better at night. Now, I'm still a night owl and prefer staying up until 11 or 12, but as long as I get in 6 hours of good sleep I'm ready to go. On the weekends, that's another story I like to get in my full eight hours on Saturday and Sunday, and I take full advantage of that.

Well, good luck to you on your future goals, stick to your guns and don't give up! AND... remember you can always start over fresh the next day, so don't stress out when one day is a mess, because the next day it's all fresh again, and you can make it a good day!
Hugs and love to ya girl!
Kim

Girl i know how hard you have been working and with the kids and all the stress at home. So i'm not going to say much bout the sleep issues cause believe me i have trouble with that and i only have the one at home and the bun in the oven so to speak.. lol. Your doing great with the points and i think you'll lose the weight its just going to take patience and work but eventually will come of but i know how hard it is when its so slow. i am just hoping that once this baby comes i'll be able to get it off without to much effort or hard time cause i really want to get down to 150 by the time this baby is 2 and alex is 6. I still can't believe my baby is going to be 4 and i'll have another one in november. yikes. thats when i'll really need your advice on how to handle 2 little muchkins since you've been there done that already.. keep going girl you can make it.

Well clearly we both have sleep issues as we're both up posting at 5:46am. I went to sleep at 11pm and woke up at 4:30am. Some days I just get this bad insomnia and cant go back to sleep. How do ya manage to work out though?!

So what in the world is this parachute class about? Dont tell me you and mini Relly are jumping out of a plane?! Please say no.. LOL

I agree with with Mal and Cita on the sleep issue. I chose sleep over exercise this morning. :D It's so important for your overall health. I think you'll feel soo much better if you get more. We only get on you about it b/c we care. So don't get mad at us. :D And I honestly think you'll see better results at the scale if you do, too. ;)

I remember playing tennis when I was a kid, it's one of the best things ever! Yay for getting your family out and doing that, that's awesome.

I really love it...I have always just played on my own with the back board...so when my cousin moved closer I asked her if she would consider trying it and playing it with me :) see said yes and we both love it, and have been doing it for at least 2 months now, it is routine and set up, twice a week

I never thought my oldest could play due to her asthma but it was at her suggestion and so far it has been great. And Im glad to involve both my girls.
