I need to figure out a good way to lose these last 20ish pounds... hmmm.
 
Self-perception is such a powerful thing.


I remember seeing a picture posted on facebook a few days ago by one of my friends. It showed a teenage girl standing in front of a mirror that was bone thin but, in her mind, the reflection cast by the mirror showed her as somewhat overweight - even though I thought she looked good!


I wish I could find the picture :( It was pretty heart breaking, since I'm sure many people suffering from eating disorders legitimately see themselves that way.


So, yeah.. it's a strange thing. My mentality is the same as yours, Kira. I think I look bigger while you look skinny! lol


It'll just take times for us to train our minds and understand that we have changed and we're both different people now, physically :)


I think we can both agree though that we've done some amazing things these last few months! I have no doubt you'll continue on and find that point in life where you'll see yourself as everyone else does :)

fantastic job, very motivating! do you ever slip up and go out to eat, and eat unhealthy? what size shirt is that by the way? just wondering for perception purposes. great job!
 
AYes. Frogged is right amout that self perception. It sneaks up in you. Mine is so bad that I was diagosed that I have BDD. Body dysmorphic disorder. On the verge of an ED. If I eat over 1800 kcal a day I freak out and stop eating. Even healthy foods, because of calories. I keep trying to lose more weight. You look good. Almost too thin. Please don't lose anymore. That "belly" has to be loose skin now. Similiar to mine. But not as bad. Your friend, kevin

I freak out when I eat too much too.


The other day I had only eaten 2 hard boiled eggs in the morning and then in the afternoon I had somethign like 4 donuts -- which was a ton of calories. So, I didn't eat the rest of the day or at all yesterday.. to balance out calories. X_x.


There is loose skin on me, and it is obvious, but mine looks like a belly and there is more fat. I still feel like I look fat; you look like a fit guy with extra skin. IMO, I look like a guy with a belly. Im not even close to being able to see abs.

Must get motivated... been really lazy (and on a diet of cookies and cookie dough, lol).


The only 'good thing' about being on a cookie diet is that the only food I really ever crave IS cookies.. so my calorie intake is really low, which kinda balances out the fact that I'm eating cookies for dinner...


(Note: Im not saying it's a good diet, haha)
 
So after like 3 weeks of eating cookies, cookie dough, and cake for breakfast lunch and dinner the damage has come in:


I've gained 1 pound.


wtf.
 
I didn't calorie count when I first started -- at that weight even a small cut in calories results in rapid weight loss.
 
dude you are a fucking G what where you doing in the beginning I'm at 288 and I've been stuck at that for like 2 months now what is your secrete I'm trying to get to 230 by novomber any advice ?
