3 years out of shape - pics

I haven't touched a dumbbell in over three years up until about 3 weeks ago when I started my FBW routine. I've lost 2 inches on my waist so far, and on my way to a leaner body. It's not much, but here are the starter pics. I'll post update pics in a couple of weeks after I've made some more visual progress.

What I do:

FBW routine 3 times a week. Try to squeeze 4-6 meals in a day. Drink musclemilk PWO. Drink Ensure Plus daily for additional nutrient intake (replaces a meal.) Drink lots of water. Don't eat anything 2 hours before bed. Get 6-8 hours of sleep a night.

Not too JACKED, but toned and lean. Oh I wouldn't mind actually being brad pitt either.

Any suggestions?
 
i personally would want to be way bigger than that fight club pic, but i guess everyone wants to be different.

my advice would be to drop that ensure stuff its garbage. Keep motivated and dedicated. and eating before bed thing im pretty sure is a myth, in fact I always eat before bed to fuel my dreams. hehe
 
haha thanks for the advice. perhaps he's a bit*too* skinny in that pic, but i mean more or less that kind of body. everyone has a different opinion on what toned is so i figured id try to have picture examples of my goal. thanks again. ;)

you are going to have to lose alot of muscle to look like pitt. there are guys on here that would gladly take it from you.

You're not in bad shape. I'd say you're in good shape considering you haven't lifted in 3 years. Looks like you have some muscle.. good luck with the cutting! I'd say cut now, then clean bulk for a few months, and another small cut. But it mostly depends on how you're satisfied with you looks.

Hahahah thanks guys I appreciate it. Oh and thats a Family Guy poster, not Rugrats!. I shall work more on the Cardio while continuing my FBW on the other days. I don't really get in as much cardio as I should, and I do skimp on my diet occasionally which probably explains why I'm still packing in my midsection. Will post pictures in a couple of weeks!

id say unless you want to be extra lean for summer, scrap the idea of a cut and go on a long bulk till next summer hehe then cut for some months maybe 3 and u'll be looking good
