Hello everyone! I've always lurked on this site and have just decided to put my own pictures. Not a lot of before's as i never like my picture taken, something that hasn't changed even now... Anyway i decided i needed to change not as a lifestyle change but to try and get my ex back lol, only when i'd started my journey did i realise that losing her was the best thing that'd happened to me and by far the biggest weight loss, harsh i know but that wasn't a good base to start on. I did the following for myself
Before
YES THERE IS A GUY STANDING BEHIND ME LOL
AFTER AND BEYOND
I'm 5ft 8in started at a healthy 280lbs, over 20stone, as a joke i joined the gym with one of my friends and it started from there. The first two months were horrible, my knees swelled up from the cardio i was doing, had to slow down. I remember one day i woke up and couldn't even stand, was terrible but i'd let myself get to that point and only i could sort it out, so i kept on. Today i'm at 13.5stone, about 183lbs. I did cardio and light weights to start, mostly cardio. 1 hour a day, 6 days a week till i was a bit more confident. I now do 2hours cardio a day, 1 hour run, 30 minutes cross trainer and 30 minutes rowing, also ride 14 miles to and from work when the weather is good. Still want to lose a bit more and then concerntrate more on weights.
So thats me, a lot of inspiration has been taken from this site and i would like to thank all of you for your posts, kept me going.
