280lbs --> 174lbs

I don't have too much trouble with loose skin. Not sure if its because I still played sports even in HS (when I started gaining massive amounts of weight) and at the beginning of summer have gone to a gym where I included weights into my exercising. Another factor is that I started when I was 18.

My stomach has a bit of a "pouch" I'd say, but it's pretty tiny & I'm hoping that it'll decrease even more as I go lower on the scale. If not I heard that sometimes insurance companies will offer you a tummy tuck for people who have lost at least 100+ lbs. Not too sure how this works -- it may just be with how certain doctors word the insurance claim but my mom knows a doctor who said she could do it for me but I'm against doing that-- not until I have lost all the weight I can "solo" & then maybe I might get it to treat myself -- not sure.

The only other place where I can even say there is some loose skin would be my arms -- they seem to be bigger than girls who have not been as big as I was. Hopefully I can decrease this with some more weight resistance training.

Everywhere else, I can't say that I have any loose skin (Thank heavens!) I got pretty lucky. My boobs shrank about maybe a half a size? (hardly anything, actually a bit upset about this) They were a very full D/DD (depending) and now they're about a perfect D. Maybe I still have to loose more weight for more to come off in that area? I'm just glad I decided to change my lifestyle when I was 18 instead of later when my skin would have less chance of bouncing back.

you look so amazing!! truely an inspiration!!!! you should be so proud of yourself. can i ask you what brands and kinds of soup you buy? i was thinking about eating more soup and less bread/meat.

Wow, to think you were hiding under all the fat before. You look AMAZING! Keep up the great work, you're doing great.

Thanks so much everyone! I'm down another 3 lbs which is great! Hope everyone's weight-loss is coming along too!

I started Nov. '08. That was just the "Oh, I need to change my lifestyle" & then slowly I saw results and then I started making more drastic changes.

My arms -- They're not as toned as I'd like them to be -- but I just did light weights 5-10 lbs around the house until the beginning of this summer ('10) where I started doing more intense weight training & lifting almost every other day (leg/cardio/arms/cardio) every day.

Jess393 -- you can do it! Good luck with your final goal!

amazing job.....

Do u have stretch marks.... which remedy did u used ??

Suprisingly, I never had really bad stretch marks from weight gain or otherwise. (Which, I heard may be a reason why I don't have too big of a trouble with loose skin) but I do lotion up almost daily (I've done this for years since I have intense dry skin, lol) Cocoa butter for (stretch mark cream) works pretty good I heard from my sister who used it all during her pregnancy before & after.

Sorry that I'm not more help with that. :(

Lucky about the stretch marks. I have very deep stretch marks that disgust the hell out of me. I'm also pasty white so it only amplifies it and makes me disgusted even more. I'm happy I'm actually fit now though...

Holy shit! You look like a completely different person! Who knew that there was such a hottie underneath all that blubber! Makes me think that there are total potential bombshells hiding in plain sight everywhere.

ToneGrail she was beautiful before she lost all that 'blubber' as you so delicately put it.
Being overweight doesn't make you ugly.

LikeOMGwhatev you've done amazingly well i know your a great inspiration for those on this board.

You look very attractive. ;). You also look a lot thinner than you weight. I'd also say you don't look a pound over 140. But, good work and congratulations hopefully you will be an inspiration to us all.

man. i am pathetic in comparison to what you've accomplished. i'd love to know how you managed to do your routine so diligently.

I don't think he meant that comment in a negative way. I'm still trying to come with terms with the fact she's 174 LBS! She looks amazing for someone @5'6 and 174LBS.

I'm a guy and 5'9, 175lbs and I look like a water buffalo compared to you. I'm very impressed with this transformation.
