20to10 - a journey begins with a single step.

Today is the first weigh in day for April challenge and measurement day so as soon as I can get himself out of the scratcher and measuring I'll post the results!!

My BMI is 30.1/30.2 depending on the method used so I'm so so close to being out of the OBESE category I can taste it!!

You're doing absolutely amazing!! I haven't been on here as much as I should have been in the last few weeks :blush5: , so its nice to see the motivation still pumping :D

Thanks Jess and MJB!! It's great getting the horrible weight off!!

Down this morning to 86.6kg/190.9lbs and BMI is.....

Finally under 30!! not OBESE anymore!! Hurray!!!

I'm away at inlaws for the Easter weekend so I brought my exercise gear so hopefully I will get to do Turbo Jam tomoro!!

Next stop, into to 180's pounds!!! Goodbye 190's!

Lost 11.1kg/24lbs so far wooooo. Nearly 3/8 of the way to goal. I'm thinking with muscles I might need to up my goal weight from 65kg/143lbs/143lbs since when I was last that weight in 2008 I had zero muscle and lots of people said I was too thin.

Yay! 127 days til goal date Aug 10 and holiday to America.

Congrats on getting your BMI down below 30 - that's great news. Hope you are having a lovely easter...

Good job on getting your BMI below 30! I can't wait for you to join the 180's with me ;) Hopefully I won't hang around for too much longer in there though, lol.

How are you doing? I'm feeling really motivated this week, so I'm really hoping for a good loss at this week's weigh in. It's about time Brown Team made it to the top again!

I've been MIA for a few weeks. Eating just okay but no gym as was to see Physio and had an inspection at work and lots of travelling.

Back to gym today. I was down to 84.4kg/186lbs which is almost 30 lbs down. This morning I'm 85.5 kg so back to food logging n exercise!!

Must lose the rest of this. Down to a 14/16 now so about halfway there!

10 Jan size 20uk 97.7 kg 215lbs
25 April size 14/16 85.5kg

goals:
25 may 176 lbs
25 June 166 lbs
25 July 156 lbs
10 August (USA trip) 150lbs

wow keep it up 20to10 - good job!!
I bet its great to be buying size 14-16 rather than size 20! Have you lost inches all evenly around your body? I'm finding that some areas are shrinking and others (i.e. upper arms) are stubbornly refusing to do so!

Sure Milah but I haven't been logging in too often. Well done on the 30 day shred!! Let me know how it goes!

So as I said slacked mostly since Easter with almost zero exercise and bad eating. Only gained 2.5lbs so it could be worse. Today I've pulled myself up and had a cold hard look at the facts. I'm going to the USA on august 10 which is 10 days away and if I want to get to my goal, that's going to mean I have to kick it up loads eat right drink loadsof water and work out at least 3x a week CONSISTENTLY!!
I'm now 85.5kg/188.6lbs
So, the May goal is to be down. 4kg/8.8lbs which is completely attainable. That wouldbring me down to 81.5kg. My friend is getting married on June 19 so that's roughly 7weeks away I'd like to be down 2lbs/week and a stone down by her wedding. That would be three stone loss in total.

So, some goals:
may 30: 81.5kg
June 19: 75kg

You can do it! I hope you enjoy your trip to the USA. Have you been here before? I visited Ireland about 20 years ago, but I have never forgotten how beautiful it was. The countryside was so green.

HI 20t010 -I went off the rails a little this week too - had my family over, and then a bank holiday weekend so lots of big meals and not enough exercise. Still, I'm ready to jump back on the bandwagon and get losing again. We can do this!

Hello!!

I have been seing you around a few other journal and decided to catch up with yours.....Wow you are seriously working out and loosing serious weight! Congrats and keep up the good work!

Its not going off the rails that counts, its the jumping back on!!! All too often we have a bad day or week and use it as a reason to carry on having a bad day...or week!! I've done it so many times - self-destruction - "oh well I've messed that up, might as well just eat some more!" but the decisions that you make afterwards are just as important i.e. not to eat that bit of cake!

So, I'm sure you can achieve your may and june goals - just regroup, refocus and re-get-on-with-it!
