2016 | My Weight Loss Journey

I´m still not a runner, but that almost sounds fun! Broccoli´s good stuff, but I think I´d get bored of it soon...

You know you`ve been working out consistently when all your sports bras are sweaty/dirty lol! On lunch I shall get more (I have 3 so far but need more clearly.. I don`t have enough laundry to justify doing a load just yet). Also need to exchange something and get a transit pass.

Yesterday I ended up doing the HIIT workout and it feels great after as well as the next day. My heart feels conditioned.

Got my period this morning which explains the bloat I've been feeling. 153.4 today. This morning got a couple of treats (samples) from Starbucks. Those calories don't count ;):D:p

Today just keeping it light at work in terms of food. IF during working hours is the only thing that works for me right now so I'm sticking to it this week along with exercising daily -- this coupled with daily HIIT and broccoli before dinner will push me out of the 140's for once and for all. Finally downloaded Myfitnesspal app on my phone. not sure what took me so long to get the app as I've been a member of the site for years lol. But better late than never

Thanks!

Nothing new to report.. still at 153.4 and have been stuck here for a few days. I`d prefer this to gaining, though so it`s all good :) Today got a hug tray of raw veggies, going to munch on these all day at work every 2-3 hours along with Thintea.

The weather is really nice today so I`ll definitely be working out! No excuses!!

Oh my old account worked :) Was looking at the old posts and having some serious nostalgia. I need to find my fitbit immediately lol! That really helped along with cutting out wheat and sugar. If I can get back into those habits I will be great.

Edit: I will get back in those habits and I WILL be great! lol! Positive affirmations.

138 I`m coming for you.

:D You will get back into those habits & you will be great! I like it. We can do this & we are :D

Thanks for the encouragement LOL!

I picked up the new Wheat Belly book... The original one really helped me understand the science behind it but now this book is more geared toward practical side of things. I`m trying out the wheat free life again. It works 100%. Not to be confused with Atkins or low carb
Yesterday went to the gym .. did interval training on the treadmill, my favorite :)

Bought a spiralizer. I can tell this is going to be the best appliance ever along with my nutribullet and kitchen scale. Zucchini pasta is EVERYTHING!!!

Hi Lovelies! x

Currently sipping on cranberry water!!!!! It`s so good for getting rid of bloat. I`m pretty bloated from the superbowl shenanigans so today at work just going to drink a ton of water.

Heya. Wow, you are super motivated :)
what is this 'thin tea' you're drinking? Sounds great.

Keep up the awesome work. I've just started running again......Well, I say that but I have just started my C25K again. My profile picture is me doing my first and only half marathon and it was 3 years ago but I was like 50lb lighter (yep, the wheels really fell off lol). I've got a bloody long road ahead of me.....Wish me luck

Hi Kate,

Thanks for stopping by :) Thin tea is a brand of loose leaf tea made of a blend of several herbs to promote weight loss. It doesn`t contain any laxatives, you can find people`s reviews on youtube. I purchased the tea in a desperate attempt to get myself back on track. You take the detox tea in the morning and the fat burn blend at night. It works, but it`s not a miracle by itself.

Good luck on your running! You can do it!! The picture must be motivating

Had a nice big salad for lunch, it had chiecked, avocado, egg, quinoa among other stuff. im so exhausted from staying up late, definitely getting lots of rest tonight.

Changed my Avatar to spice things up lol. I love cherry blossoms/sakura.

Currently drinking green tea, and I have a bottle of water with a splash of cranberry juice in it. I'm going to the gym today with my cousin, we're both trying to lose weight so we're planning to motivate each other. She wants to lose 50lbs, and I'm aiming for 15-20. I completely let myself go over the holidays, and now I realize why people tend to get fatter as they get older. Not necessarily because they pig out constantly, but rather because if the few, seemingly innocent, pounds gained over Christmas never come off, it add up over the years. The weight I gained over the holidays are really stubborn right now. I still haven't lost them. So even though its not really a big deal now, if I repeat it every year it'll become a bigger issue. So night as well just ni[ it in the bud while I'm young and able with no real responsibilities.

I'm seriously so tired of being in the same spot. I need to make a change that is going to give results. I'm usually pretty good during the day at work, I work a 9-5. But literally the minute I leave work all my good work goes down the drain and I end up eating all the snacks. ALL THE SNACKS! Yes, rice cakes aren't bad but it's about the quantity of food. reading wheat Belly is helping though. I know the hardest part is STARTING then after a few days, it becomes second nature and you wonder what took so long to get into eating healthy. But when you're constantly going back and forth between healthy and not healthy, you never get over than hump and so its a constant feeling of frustration.

The past few days I've been walking on my lunch break. Great way to get cardio in during the day. My fitbit is what's keeping me motivated, I aim for 10,000 steps a day.
