2013 will be my year.......no excuses!

Hi everyone! I'm Sinéad.
I have tried and failed at "diets" in the past and have always given up after a couple of weeks of exercise programmes.
This time it's for real!
My aims are to cut out all "bad" things (crisps, sweets etc), do some sort of exercise daily and believe in myself more! Stop obsessing about my weight so much that I never get anywhere with regard to actually losing it.
Good luck to everyone on their weight loss journeys! We can do it!!

Hi Sinéad, I'm starting over again too! Good luck and lets hope the next couple of months are life changing ones for us both!

Thank you!

Haha, I just realised I wrote 2012 on the thread title.. Must have been thinking of LAST year's resolution. lol!

Good luck on your quest. One good tip is not to let any setbacks cause you to give up. If you screw up and eat a bag of crisps, yell at yourself and hop back on track the next day. Except for me, no one is perfect. :D

I agree with MrVee - the important thing is to keep on going and not give up when something goes wrong.

So how is your first month of progress?

Thanks for checking up on me! :)

I actually fell way off the wagon but I restarted yesterday. Kind of have a new mindset about the whole thing.
I've re-started Turbo Fire too. Day 1 and 2 completed! Also did an hour long hill walk today as the spring weather is so beautiful!

Going well so far. Today was my Turbo Fire rest day so unlike other times when I've ignored the rest day, I've actually had a rest day today! I think in the past I've burnt out within a week and a half because I pushed myself too hard. I'm being much more realistic and relaxed about the whole thing now, while still being disciplined about my eating and exercise.
I can feel it...a change is happening :) It's all about shifting mindset!

I really wish I could edit the title of this thread so it says 2013 and not 2012! haha :D

Turbo Fire days 1, 2, 3 (rest day) and 4 completed. Feels good!!

Hey, I wish you luck with your goals. You're right about getting burnt out. Just remember that it's a life long journey and hurrying really fast won't benefit you that much. :p

Thanks so much Omega and Cory! I hope you both had a great week and will have a lovely weekend!

*Turbo Fire Day 5 (Fire 55 EZ and Stretch 10) done!*

**EZ sure could not stand for "easy" lol**

I'm finding it hard to keep my calorie count up!! Friday I was so busy I ate very little. Today I've been sick so ate very little too. Will have to double up on workouts (Fire 30 and Stretch 40) tomorrow as I've been under the weather!
