199 And Counting Down... Cassy's New Story

you know what i was thinking about having a couple of peanut butter cups... since it would be under my calories... but you inspired me to have a salad!!! =D thanks girl!!! hehe already seeing the benefits of the challenge xD

I was one of the few guys in the last challenge and, sorry to say have not had the time to keep up in the new one, but wanted to pop in and tell you that I'm here to cheer you on anyway!!

I'll be around here and there, just busy these days is all.

I'm Glad I could Help! Another snack I love when the green stuff just wont do it is popcorn... i recently got a box of orville redenbachers LIGHT mini bags.... I dont find them any less flavourful then regular popcorn and the minibag actually pack a pretty heafty amount, for a not too shabby 170 calories... it lasts longer and better then the 250-300 calories you get from a chocolate bar. AND even for those days when you just gotta have chocolately flavour, i really like quakers crispy delights it has 90 calories and i actually find that by the time your done the bag the chocolatey craving is gone :D

Thats okay, I know you've been busy Karl. I havent been posting but i've been watching your journal here and there. Thanks for stopping by! :seeya:

Well last night I had a few drinks... we finally put a deposit on a bulldog pup that we'll be getting march 14th just 2 days before my birthday... i was just so excited i had to celebrate! I had lots of room left in my calories so i poured myself a few!
i've gotten to quite a few journals this morning, but i definately need to get to my running now!

omgosh... i love the quaker rice snacks... ive tried chocolate, caramel, ranch... and also a tortilla guacamole rice chip. they are really good... and give you that amazing flavour. honestly im not a popcorn fan.... when i used to make it... hehe... i would pour sugar and cinnamon all over it and have cinnamon toast popcorn. xD maybe try that with splenda or something sometime... haha...

is the bulldog puppy a boy or girl?!? or have you not chosen yet?! ahhh that will be a great birthday-ish present =D

lol i think the sugar might defeat the purpose lol
He's a boy we made our final decision last night... now were just trying to pick a name... my hubby wants to call him Meatball... which is cute, but it's too much of a novelty name for me... the breeder has named him jake but the H doesnt care for that one : /...
I have some pics of him... he's only 4 weeks so he doesn't look like much but he'll be a big boy... i also aded the pictures of dad and mom :)

WOW! My mom's birthday is the 15th! AND OMG I just saw the pictures of the bulldog--:beating:

Bully dogs are my favorite breed. They're usually super-intelligent, but if they're dopey, they're sweet as all hell. They're not usually emo dogs, which I can barely stand--my friend's French bulldog Mollie was so cute and smart, if no one was playing with her, she'd be like "fuck it" and make up games by herself--like throwing a toy up into the air and catching it, which I almost never see. The thing I love the most is their expressive eyes. I like dobbies, but I noticed their eyes look a little vacant sometimes, and the way bully breeds' eyes roll around as they look at you with their huge mouths....awww, so cute! Congratulations!!!

Oh I know! Bulldogs are the best... the take some maintenence with their wrinkles and creases and were shelling out 2400 for him, we put down 500 as a deposit to hold him untill he's old enough and will pay the rest when we go pick him up, but well worth it IMO... we've wanted one for years! Theyre such lovable docile dogs! And theyre like a large breed in smaller package! our other favourite breed is siberian huskey but theyre WAYYY too hyper for small kids and our relatively cramped space... we have a big back yard but he would be spending most of his time out there. A bulldog just fits our family perfect... the only thing that sucks is i cant take him running with me or long walks on hot days because they overheat far too easily... And my husband has me all worried about walking him bc they have a high tendancy to be stolen just because theyre so expensive :S

Yeah, and also they tend to have hip problems. If it's not too late, I'd look into his family history for that if I were you. My friend with the French bulldog had to shell out thousands for hip surgery......

I trust the breeder they've been breeding for 17 years and have some champion dog in their lines... either way i plan to have insurance on him just because of they breed and all the problems they can have.

get him microchipped for sure!
ive even heard of some... i think... @__@
that have like a GPS on them... kinda thing...
if he gets stolen then you can check that
with a satellite and find his location...
maybe im crazy and making it up though X___x

all of the breeders puppies come registered in CKC (canadian kennel club) with a 2 year Written Health Guarantee, Vet Checked and Certificate, Micro-chipped, Shots, Dewormed... so he's pretty covered lol
I do think i've heard about gps tracking, but i havent checked it out to know for sure.

definately! it's something i had to think about before deciding bc its all going to be riding on me since my H is at work all day and my plate is already full with 2 little ones, but i think i can handle it :D it's definately not a breed you can just throw in a kennel in the back yard. they need as much care and attention as a child... I'm soo excited! he's going to be the best B-Day present EVER!
