1200 Calorie Diet Club

Bep, if you do'tn get in all your cals today, don't worry about it. I wouldn't eat alot at night just to get the cals in, i think thats worse. BUT just try to do better tommorrow :D

edit~ I just noticed you are going to have alot to eat tommorrow...thats ok too. Everyone is entitled to a day off once in a while!
 
OK...

Breakfast: Fruit&Grain cereal bar (120)
Lunch: Ham sandwich (290)
Snack: Pear (96)
Dinner: Shrimp alfredo shells & green beans (best I could count was less than 700 cals, so I will call it 700 to be on the safe side)

Total cals: 1206

I sure was stuffed after dinner! I hadn't had that much food in one setting in over a week since I started counting cals! :eek: Oh well....I was outside working on my landscaping from about 6:15pm to 9pm so I am sure I burned a lot of that off! I was doing heavy-duty work.

Well...tomorrow morning I weigh in for my first week of cal counting! :D

Oh my goodness!!!! I am soooooo excited!!!!!! I lost 4 lbs this week!!!!!

I know my weight loss will slow down since this was just the first week of counting cals, but it is SOOOOOOO encouraging to me!!!

Hi. Do you have something to count calories for fruits and veggies? Can you get that info online?

Okay here's yesterdays calories
Breakfast - Yogurt smoothie - 200
Mid-day - Slice of wholegrain bread - 110
Banana - ??? 100?
Dinner - WHOPPER JR (minus cheese and mayo) !!!!!YIKES!!!!! - ????
About 10 fries - ????????
Late night breakdown - cheetos - 160

I'm sure I'm way over 1200 with that Burger King! Yesterday was an awful day. I was on the run non-stop all day and didn't stop to eat right.

But it's one day. I didn't gain anything from yesterday to today. Today is a new day.

Also, I got in my 64 oz of water. That's again a big hooray for me.

Keep me on my toes. Thanks.

Peri....you will be very happy to know you consumed about 979 cals yesterday! This link I gave you also has restaurant's items on it and you can adjust the serving...including the "no mayo and no cheese" on the whopper Jr.

So....you actually did really well for your crazy day!

Thanks for the nutrition info, bep. It will be a great help for me. And WHEW! I'm glad I didn't completely blow it.
I hope your dinner goes well. It's always good to get together with friends and/or family.

Now for the breakfast question...
When I eat a large breakfast, I'm not hungry for a very long time and my energy level is great, BUT is it good to have a large breakfast, no lunch and a small dinner? I know it's about calories here. Maybe I need to calculate how many calories a big breakfast is because I might be consuming plenty of calories. (A big breakfast for me is a 3 egg omlet with veggies and a little cheese, some bacon and whole grain toast without butter.)

5 Pounds This Week!

Hey everyone,
I'm so excited! I've lost five pounds this week (and 20 pounds total - woohoo). I know the water and exercise helped.
Most of all I know all the support here has helped. I'm 5 pounds away from the 100's!!!! I'm so excited. It's been a long time since I've seen the 100's.

Hi all!

Well...it's that time of the month so I am feeling blah-ky. I had a great time last night with my friends!

Today...
Breakfast: Fruit&Grain bar (120)
Lunch: Turkey sandwich (290)
Dinner: Some leftovers (approx 800 - 900ish???)

Looks like I went a little over today. :mad: Boy...it is hard sticking to it on the first day of period! :( What is bad is that I am baking tons of chocolate & white chocolate chip cookies and a chocolate cake...this time of the month, I seriously crave chocolate. :rolleyes: Oh well...I am not going to touch it. I am used to having sweets around the house for hubby and kids, so it is not an overpowering temptation for me.

My husband loves Bryers Ice Cream and so do I. It is really difficult when he has a bowl for me to say no. Last night he wanted a bowl, so I went to the store and bought me some cantaloupe and pineapple from the produce section. I had a huge bowl of that and the whole time he was eating his ice cream he kept saying, "Mmmm, that smells so good." BUT I was in a mood, so I didn't offer him any. I was irritated he was eating my favorite ice cream (butter pecan) in front of me.

OH....I was a naughty NAUGHTY girl yesterday!!! And today I am paying the price because I am swollen. Yucky!!! I am going to have to REALLY be into gear this week!

I started out with my usual smoothie, grabbed one 320 calorie chocolate frosted donut about 2 o'clock and ended the day with way yummy pizza and Breyers butter pecan......Darn that husband of mine - okay he didn't force feed me, but , but , but , ............Oh, who am I kidding? It's my fault.

AND THEN....I started this morning. (Guess that answers the "why in the world did I eat that pizza?" question.) I'm bloated not only from starting but also the huge amount of sodium I consumed yesterday. All that and I didn't drink ANY water. Huh?

So it would probably be a bad idea to starve myself today and drink twice as much water???? I know it would be (I've already had one egg and a bowl of fruit with two glasses of water).

It's the start of a new day - a new week. Time to get back to good choices.

Hi there!!! Just wanted to check in really quickly. I have had a crazy day, but did really well on my cals!!! I still feel a little swollen from my salty junk food on Sunday night though. I hope that goes away quickly. G'night & skinny dreams to all!
