Good reading matieral. Any Nutrition/Sports Exercise author you respect?

I have been reading over Lyle Mcdonald's stuff and I'm very impressed. The wealth of information in his books is truly amazing.

I was curious if someone here could recommend another author who is heavly science based? Or perhaps just a nutritionist/coach you respect?

I just got into Michael Pollan. He wrote In Defense Of Food. I think you'd enjoy that.

Not a fitness writer, but great for explaining in simple easy to follow terms are the books by Brad Walker on stretching and injuries. I learnt alot by reading his books. Would be great if they were more indepth but a little google searching can turn all that around. It was through reading his book on injuries that I found out my suspected shin splint/tendonitis was actually caused by a foot muscle inbalance which I was able to experiement with- I can now run with no pain!

Lyle Mcdonald by far for nutrition
Mark Rippetoes for new lifters
Jeff Willet for bodybuilding information
Eric Cassey for powerlifting

Dr. John Berardi for sports nutrition.
