Breath! Take a deep breath! It'll all be ok.
Kidding aside.
What stroke will you use? Could you do 100m x3 in one session? x4 ? x5 ? Let's say you can do 100m x3. Maybe next week you can do 150 x3. Maybe not. Swimming is the one thing that isn't going to hurt you. Just go slow. Go slow and BREATH.
I have recently lost a significant amount of money in the market and therefore consider myself a bad financial advisor. I think you should do what's best for you and tell me what you have at your (facility) disposal.
If you don't have access to a pool, where will you swim?
Ideally, you'd ride a bicycle but a stionary bike "could" be used. Honestly though, I rode a spinner bike a few years ago to stay inside. Huge mistake. The miles do not equate. I do almost all of my rides outside... even in the rain.
If you are concerned about lifting and swimming, don't do it. I am constantly having conversations with my coach on what I think is best. You know you better than I do. I can lift and swim and I also lift before I swim. Sometimes they are on separate days. Sometimes one is in the morning, the other the afternoon.
There are two schools of thought on lifting. I have no idea which is right but " I " think you can strike a balance and I also think it depends on how you're lifting. I've been pondering this thought recently and have come up with a new protocol for me specifically which involves heavier lifting during the base periods and then as I reach the build period, I will lighten up but increase the count.
Do you like to lift?
If it seems massive, don't look at it like that. Don't look at the entire program or even the entire week. Just look at one day or one workout. Get through that and then look at the next.
You can do this!!
Now what's all this stuff about my pic? I look big? Really? I swear I'm not.
