Morning Upper Back Pics
A few months back, I was asked to post pics of the back.
Well, my stubborn butt decided to take a few today; I took these this morning when I first got up, with my dooch bag cell phone camera. I need them to track progress this coming year.
This first upper back pic is with shoulders pulled back, and shoulder blades pushed toward the spine. And, for those that don't know me, I am 5' 7", 47 years old, and 162 pounds. Back pain was one of the primary reasons I began my diet and fitness quest. It no longer exists, because failure wasn't an option.
Basically I just turned my back to the mirror, and took a shot.
Photo quality is bad; apologize in advance.
I am not all abs, M-kay? LOL.
Just joking.
Crap, it looks like I am being invaded by a snake, and its going to pop my head off like a cork, LOL.
Here is the other one I took, its a little tighter and "harder" pull back (but not fully retracted toward the spine), and a slightly different angle than the other pic.
The trap line going down the back, is nothing short than wierd looking to me.
This should settle whether I dead lift or not.
We sort of hurt one another, but it never lies to me.
We shall see what 10 more pounds brings this up coming year--of working dat' ass, and working with a personally modified DC.
This back will pull a 400lb dead lift, even weighing so little, and being and old fart.
Basically, all I have ever done for the back (as far as free weights) are: The DB/BB Pull-Over, the DB Renegade Row, Bent-Over Row, the T-Bar Row, and of course the Dead Lift. In addition to: BB Shoulder Shrugs, the Upright row, DB Arm Pit Shrugs, and Incline DB Shrugs (where the shoulder blades are squeezed). I now have a Lat Pull down bar, which can double as a Tri-Push down. And, this will be a new addition, and a new stimulant in the training, which I look forward to. I need to get my back a bit wider, and I will also post a back spread as well.
Best wishes
