If I'm on a computer I'm at work. I hate them so much I refuse to look at one unless I'm getting paid.
I hate to crash the party, but I think I have to agree with gas here.
Some of the stuff said here was inappropriate simply because it is offensive to most self respecting women. It may be for your own amusement, but it is at the expense of women. It's degrading, insulting and immature. If you feel that strongly against women, then please keep it to yourself.
At first, I wasn't going to say anything, but I thought, why not be courageous and speak my mind? I hope someone gets something out of this. Women have made a lot of progress in society so far, but even silly stuff like this is a painful reminder of the work that still needs to be done before we are seen fully as equals.

I try not to be offensive. So please tell me either through PM or here if I said anything offensive. I try my best to give helpful tips throughout the site, but if something is offensive, it's better to state directly and at the moment of offense.
However, given the nature of the thread, I think it was bound to lure people to discuss rather offensively.

No dallen, It wasn't you. You didn't say anything that offended me. Sorry I should have clarified. The two guys who did offend me know who they are and they just made another joke out of it. That's what I expected, so whatever.
There's not many people at that age who will come on a forum like this. I think the youngest iv seen is 13.
13 year olds are teens and have a mind of their own. So thats no problem.

I see the point gas is trying to make. I think perhaps he/she has a young child who came on this forum and saw the many remarks about various body parts.
However, I think as any parent - or a person who has some form of common sense - would know that Internet is a place where nasty things lurk. Just looking at the title, "genital odor" should prompt any parent to say, "Hey, wait a second, I don't think a child should look at this." Just monitor your children and take it easy. You really can't attack anyone on the internet because anyone can really say anything they want with little to no consequences - and no I'm not talking about the 1st amendment or something like that. The best thing to do is to just monitor your children and explain to them why or why not certain things can or cannot be looked upon.

Unfortunately, I've found that you can't change other people's minds. Once they're adults, it's pretty much set in stone. I just try to put my opinion out there so they know it's there. But trying to force it on them only makes you look bad.
Yes I think it's unfortunate that a lot of men disrespect women. But it exists no matter how much you try to fight it. Instead of trying to change them, why not have a positive outlook for yourself. That's what I try to do. I can see you're quite upset, looking at your signature. It's a sad truth that a lot of people, both men and women, call women hoes. Hopefully that will change in the future. All we can really do now is focus on ourselves. We need to love and respect ourselves first. Respect from others will come later.
I also think this issue is less about the word "hoe" itself and more about what you think it means. A lot of young boys learn to disrespect women as a rite of passage. It makes them "manly". They don't even think of it as disrespectful. It's just something funny to them. If they thought it was wrong, they wouldn't do it. You cant change other people. You can only change yourself. If you want change, work for positive change.

I think we have different definitions of disrespect. There's playful jesting with no bad intent, but then there's true disrespect, where a a man uses a woman for his pleasure only and then tosses her out like a piece of garbage. That's disrespect, and it's associated with some of those words like "hoe" and "slut". Some people can't tell when a person is joking and when they're not.
As for women who like to be treated mean, it's probably because they never learned to respect themselves. It could be related to early childhood sexual trauma, and the idea of being abused becomes eroticized. Sometimes it's just normal women that like to do a little roleplaying in the bedroom. I do, however, think that deep down everybody wants to be respected whether they eroticize disrespect or not.
