I've just started a new fitness regime, however I find when I run I get a really intense pain in my throat when I breathe, I feel I could run for longer but have to stop as it hurts too much. Is this just because Im a little unfit?

It's always cold in England! so yeah you could be right, thanks for the replys!
remember to breathe through your nose as much as possible to help heat and moisten the air (or wear a baclava on the extremely cold/dry days)
