No...it makes perfect sense: you cut & bulk, one cancels-out the other and accordingly strikes a balance, henceforth her body remained unaffected. But I think you're onto something.....we're gonna need pics....scantly clad pics too, it's for medical reasons & research I assure you!!!!!

When I first read about BikeSwimLaugh’s Fat Continuum Theory I couldn’t understand it, it was in fact…over my head. I even had a way (or so I thought) to disprove his preposterous theory. I’ve lost approx 91 lbs and my wife has lost close to 55 lbs. Our two young children haven’t put the weight on and we have no pets. Where had all the fat gone? I looked in the corners of the cave I call home to see if it was sitting there, and nope, it wasn’t. I was perplexed. Until……
I remembered seeing a picture of an old high school girlfriend a few days ago. The fat had jumped both time and space!!! I am not acquainted with her anymore nor live anywhere close to her. Yet, she had packed on what I had lost. Amazing! Eureka even! My mind was boggled. It would be unexplainable really, if not for the Fat Continuum Theory.
Once over the initial shock my evil genius mind went to work and now I have to ask you guys what you think of my mad scientist idea. Is there a way to harness the lost fat? To control where it goes? To force it upon someone you do not wish to be as hot as they used to? Or maybe there are ways to use it in politics. There’s no way Hilary would be nominated if she was over 400 lbs! (insert maniacal laugh here) mwahahaha….MWAHAHAHA……MWAHAHAHA!!!

Okay...check this out. My ex-girlfriend who lives up in S.F. it was her birthday and we alwayS call eachother on birthdays (College sweetheart thing). I called her, before I could tell her that I'd lost about 50 pounds, she told me that she's disgusted because she's the heaviest she's ever been and that she had gained....yep: 50 pounds!!!!!

Okay, I've been working on the ummmm......"machine" that we will need to harness and control all the lost fat. Here's what I've come up with so far.
Current short list of materials needed...
- a De Lorean DMC-12 (I'm not making this up)
- a flux capacitor (maybe even two)
- one Proton Pack
- Poke balls (as many as is needed for the amount of fat to be stored, gotta catch it all! am I right?)
I'm sure there are more parts to the "machine", but I haven't quite figured them out yet. I'll get back with you on that.....unless, in my fun time with the De Lorean I get stuck in the future. That wouldn't be so bad though since my future self will surely be more lean and "buff" than my current self. Of course, my current self would only be able to look at my future self not able to enjoy the future leanness. See how confusing the FCT really is? I'm working on it though BSL.

I think there's some truth to BSL's post about weight gain and lost. I think by nature people tend to imitate others whether by a conscious decision or not. By default, if we're close to someone, we would want to follow that person. So perhaps if you're losing weight, those close to you might subconsciously (or not) make a decision to copy you. For men who are losing weight, perhaps females who are close tend to imitate that behavior but since you are separated by gender - that is men typically burn more calories than a woman - perhaps that is why they gain weight even though they are following the same nutritional choices and exercise (perhaps the nutritional choices too much so weight is gained, or perhaps exercise is too vigorous so the body is going into starvation mode).
No, there is no truth to BSL's post/theory whatsoever....it's just a nutty observation presented for entertainment value and to discuss for fun. But D, if you read....I surmize that while WE lose fat, OTHERS around and amongst us must gain it, hence the term FAT CONTINUUM. I think you got it backwards in terms of who loses/gains the weight.
Since I've lost a lot of weight, others around me have mysteriously gained it OR have endured a tougher time losing it. Does it make sense? NO, but neither does McDonalds McRib sandwich and that doesn't stop them from selling 'em!
