Thanks Cate, I guess it was close enough to excellent!Your day sounds excellent to me, Rob
I sure know that feeling, and will continue to feel that way until I get shot #2. However I think just getting #1 and being scheduled for #2 is a relief. I sure hope you and Cate can get yours soon.I don't think I've ever looked forward to someone jabbing a needle into my arm as much as I do now
Hey Natalya a lot of the coconut milk sold here is the same. However you can find an "unsweet" variety, no sugar, no artificial sweeteners. That is what I buy. It does not taste bad but not a very powerful taste, a little weak. Maybe the sugar, particularly if they add artificial flavoring makes a difference, don't know I have never tried anything but the unsweet variety. Look around, the unsweet might be available in Moscow, I hope so.I've read your aticle lately and decided to buy a coconat milk, It was very funny in the shop my husband was very much suprised when I got it but I needed to read more carefull the descriprion what is inside, here is a real shit, at least what we bought, bunch of suger, prodused in the Moscow region, but we are a bit far from coconat lol
It is here, sugar gets added to most everything in US foods...I don't think I've ever seen coconut milk with sugar added in the stores...
That's perfectly normal, as unpleasant as it is. Would you have gone to the doctor if your stomach felt weird 2 years ago? Maybe what's happening is that you're paying more attention to your body so you're actually catching problems you might've overgone earlier? Finetuning, as Cate saysI have always imagined myself healthy except for diet and weight, but I guess its not completely so. Makes me feel older...
An interesting idea, can it be done at the same time? Did not think to ask my surgeon, do you know? I know I can live without it, but now might be a good time to consider...consider abdominoplasty
Thanks Cate, and I like it. Fine tuning! I was thinking of it more as trying desperately to keep an old rusty leaking boat afloat for a few more years...Look on these things as fine tuning.
Good point LaMa, it did and I didn't. When it felt bad I always just assumed it was from eating too much, no need to ask the doctor about that. The more I think about this the surer I am that the hernia have long been there. I actually recall the smallest one, the belly button hernia being diagnosed when I was about 20 years old. Did nothing about it then and had long forgotten.... The pains have gotten worse lately, maybe the high veggie diet putting more mass through the system has something to do with that, don't know. However I am pretty sure now that at least some of the digestive problems I have been complaining about and blaming on diet of late are the hernias... Will see how the surgery changes things. I am scheduled to go in March 24, shortly after I get back from vacation. My second covid shot is scheduled for March 22 and the doctor wanted to give me a couple of days to recover from that.Would you have gone to the doctor if your stomach felt weird 2 years ago?
Estimating size and calories for something like that is hard, and not very accurate. I think I got the turkey pretty close, but the mole is another story. No telling what went into the restaurant mole, but I know it was rich. I did not eat it all, maybe half what I was served, just what stuck to the turkey. It sure was good. The two small chips were actually appetizer, before the mole arrived. Probably should not have done that, but they were small, and just two, I left a whole lot more on the table.Depending on the turkey/mole portion size I might have had a little more than 2 chips but it sounds like a very sensible and delicious choice.
Thanks LaMa, so far so good. My digestion is improved, as are my energy levels. However I know those went up and down before the diet so only time will tell how well its working. I go back to the Nutritionist Thursday, we will see what she says.I'd wish I could fastforward time to see how your new diet plays out - but that would be wishing my life away and time passes so quickly anyway. Still: exciting times!
Hey Cate, thanks for your nice words, and I am pretty sure maintenance is in your future. You are trying pretty hard, you got it figured out!wish I could fast forward to being at maintenance again
I'm really happy for you!In fact I felt good all day!
