Petals diary

I am sorry I have no time to read all your diaries I will catch up when and I can , I will chip away at them later .
Yesterday I had a fantastic day . We had some me time getting nails done etc and a wonderful lunch . I did have a dessert but all else was fish and veg and Salads . Scales holding today so happy enough .
work will be really busy this week and so is school stuff and starting to get ready for Christmas . Big breath needed .

Brilliant, about your great day Sunday - and isn't it lovely when the scales hold? even though the scales-numbers are as nothing compared to the great feeling of being fit and healthy and having a good relationship with food. Hugs and have another happy day!
 
Well hoping to see a hold on the scales later . It’s been tough though .
I have been thinking about how well I feel compared to last year . I don’t need antacids anymore . My sleep is better . My body functions properly and regularly ( iykwim ) . I think as Xmas approaches I don’t want to change how I feel so I think it’s going to be easier than I was worrying about . Also after reading Amy’s diary I think we should all be focusing on our nourishing meals and getting proper calories in so we don’t crave sugar rush

Jack well yes but I'm attending a slimming club so I'm following their plan.

That's a whole lot more important than what the scales say, clear signs you are healthier today.

Thsnk you Em and Cate . Well the scales were kind and another 0.5 lb down. Happy with that .
Also I checked were there classes over Christmas and there are on Dec 23 and 30th .

Yes, the scales are so unimportant, compared to this lived reality - but I'm cock-a-hoop about your scales half-pound, too! This is just terrific!
And I'm really glad my bad example has been useful! (Your wise advice came into play last night - I did have soup as you advised, rather than going to bed without tea again - and I survived this morning's weigh - ie nothing up, still that single half-pound down.)
Yes! we can do Christmas - and as LaMa says one can feel a bit surfeited of even the nicest treats, so... we can do this!!

was just looking at your diary, going back to the beginning. Very encouraging for me as it looks as though your beginning was similar to how i'm feeling now at my beginning :) It's encouraging to see you've stuck to it. I hope I'll be as committed!
That is so great that you've seen so many improvements over the year!
 
That's great that classes are on over Christmas, it will keep you on track. And well done on losing another half a pound.

Thanks Liza . I replied on your diary . Thanks Cate and Em . I had horrible headache yesterday. Ended up eating dinner late as wasn’t hungry earlier . I made myself remember my advice to Amy and not to skip a meal . All the Xmas food is in the office now . I have my bag of fruit lol .
 
I agree with LaMa, you are doing the right thing about the office food. Since I have been dieting we have sent a lot of food to my wife's office. She works with a number of young healthy people who seem to be able to eat it without problems, and appreciate it.
