Thank you my friends . I do feel a good bit better today thankfully . Hope it continues.

Weight in i was down 1lb . Happy enough with that . If I could lose same again now for October I would be pleased .

Will check in on all your diaries on and off today . Mornings seem to run away on me at moment .
 
Rob I am still a good bit away from maintenance not sure how much but maybe for me say between 10 and 14lb . I want so see how I adjust and what suits me and feels sustainable.

I missed lunch today except for fruit and yoghurt and I had an early dinner of roast chicken , lots of veg , little potatoe and gravy . I did have a dessertspoon of stuffing . I was very hungry and it was the best dinner I ate in a long time . Autum cold windy weather here so lovely heart warming Irish dinners for us .
 
Congratulations on another pound gone! >20 degrees C here today so no envy for that lovely roast dinner.
 
You might be a bit tired as well because you’re eating slightly less calories than your body is used to.

I liked your comment about having the steak to give you a boost - I was exhausted yesterday and had turkey and ham for lunch with loads of mash, veg and gravy to try to replenish. I think extra protein is a good idea. This is why I like being a meat eater. :)
 
Thanks Em I think I have been eating like this for 4 months now so I don’t know . I eat a very balanced healthy diet . I honestly think it’s complete overwork and trying to do everything . I had lots of driving last week and that exhausts me plus work is stressful . I have chilled a bit now and feel good bit better .

Well done on being down another pound - and on less than a stone to go! :D I like how you're really easing into maintenance now, just taking the last few pounds off, gradually, not crashing or rushing. I loved the idea of a dessertspoonful of stuffing! Yum!
I hope work eases off a bit - is the pressure just a passing thing, like a big rush order of something, or is it more a constant?

Amy the stuffing was really nice and Just enough. The stress is constant really Amy . I just have to suck it up for now. I don't want to change jobs just now as it suits me location and hours but might consider it next year or two. I wonder though is it any better elsewhere

There´s no guarantee it is but talking to other people in your field might give you a better idea of that. Firms running people ragged rely on their fear of change to keep them. Until then make sure you plan rest times especially when you don´t have time for them. Even if it´s just 10 minutes of breathing exercises.
 
I agree with LaMa's suggestion about talking around to get a feel for how things are, at least - and also about making sure you're getting rest. Also, keep a sharp eye on just how much work they're wringing out of you - that is, don't put up with any workload or working conditions that you wouldn't want a favourite niece (say) to put up with. Just because you can carry a load doesn't mean it's right that you should have to constantly.
 
LaMa and Amy thank you for your kind words . I will keep an eye out but I chatted with my colleague today and we agreed we both like the people and the hours . I am going to keep an eye out but for now I will suck it up .

Official weigh in I’m down 1.5lb . Was happy .

I’m going to not put major pressure on myself now because I’m finding it harder to shift the weight so my October target for myself is 3lb by the night weigh in on October 30th . That is 4 weeks .

The little mini goal in that is at 1.75 lb off I’ll be in the 12 stone range which is my final range . So here I go , Choo choo

Choo-chooooo..... this train's on track! Go, Petal! :hurray: And chugging along the track at your own pace, not busting the boiler - very good plan!

That's good, about chatting with your colleague; having two of you will help if you need to say no to any outrageous demand from the bosses, like forced overtime or whatever.
 
Today I have a funny day won’t be home much . However I am prepared . I had a good breakfast and I have a lunch box packed with

Bowl of fruit
Orange
Banana
An oatmeal scone I made
40g of cheddar

If I can’t have lunch I won’t be hungry . So no need to buy processed crap if I get desperate .

That's great, you are headed in the right direction for sure. You really have done well here, as you know we both started about the same time and seeing you do well has helped me. Keep it up!

Sorry about your job struggles, and I understand the comfort of staying where you are, location and all. However in my experience looking back at most of my career and big life changes I don't regret many, only that I didn't do them sooner. I am sure you will do what is best for you.

I'd like to see one of those little dances! No need to keep them all inside.
