Well done on the food; shame it was hard to keep down.

School just called...I'm in line for a teaching internship. It's in Barcelona and it's teaching kids 3-16 english. They know the basics so its more about polishing them up and exposing them to a different culture. It doesn't pay much but i would be a good resume' builder.
It only pays 300 euros a month but id be with a host family and the school provides transportation to and from school. They would set me up with a spanish language tutor. It's 9 months long and 25 hours a week. The school says it woyld only be a slight change in the visa so i could work somewhere else while i was there to make more money.........something to think about.

Yea that was all day but i got hungry a few mins ago and also had a wrap with red pepper humus...

Prob ended up 1500 or so cala
Or at least I'd like to think it was; it's hard to say.
The bento had about 4oz of cubed steak, 4 pieces of california roll, a salad, 2 crab and cream cheese fried wontons, a small bowl of fried rice(maybe a 1/2 cup, and 1 fried vegtable spring roll(tiny thing but good).

Im thinking breakfast out of a box this morning....thinking cereal..maybe cook....no carb filled cereal is starting to win...

I tried spaghetti squash tonight and it was really good...not pasta but good..i just treated it like a pasta. It tasted kinda like acorn squash but less sweet. It was an experiment that turned out really well.
I put some olive oil in a pan, added some red pepper flakes then added the squash. Cooked it for awhile, added some butter, fresh parsley, goat cheese crumbles and let it get all gooey...topped with some more fresh parsley and it omg good.

That sounds so good Rebel. I haven't seen or tried spaghetti squash, but I'm going to try to get some sometime.

I not sure when itll be available there but here its almost year round. You treat it much like a fresh pumpkin..cut it in half and scoop out the goop. Just like a pumpkin it has stringy stuff and seeds in the middle, salt the dickens out of it(make it rain) nature forgot to season it for some reason ;) put the 2 halves face down on a sheet pan and bake at 425(you'll have to do the temp conversion; its been a long day), cook about 35 minutes, let it cool and scrape it out with a fork.
Oh something i figured out awhile back..if you need to cut into a hard squash, put it in the micro wave 10-15 seconds to soften the outer skin.
Half of it made about 2 cups so ill get a vegetable in tomorrow as well.

Glad you liked it! Fake pasta is a good way to add more veggies if you enjoy the taste.
Well i like squash so i thought it would be ok. My fav is acorn squash and it taste about the same but less sweet. Kinda like tofu, its bland so it picks up any flavors you add to it.
