Lift, Train, Fitness

It´s so nice to see someone able to assess their own physical condition instead of simply believing they are where they want to be. And I expect that´s what will get you back to proper form on the fastest possible track.

Sorry to read about the elbow, hopefully the pain is a bit more manageable and you're back at the gym again soon.

Good time to work on one arm push-ups? ;)

it is 5:30 am, bub has finished her feed, feeling good after getting in a partial training session yesterday, now to try and get some more sleep before the day begins fully.

I don't often log my food here but so far today

Breakfast - Tuna slices and 600 ml of water
Snack: 600 ml water
Lunch: currently cooking, Chicken Drumsticks seasoned with smoked paprika, served with a green salad with Fetta and an apple cider vinegar dressing, 600 ml water

Will drink a further 600 ml water during the afternoon and dinner will be some sort of beef and green vegetables and more water.

nope, no more sleep yet lol, she has just gone to sleep in her cot after a being very grizzly all day, early night tonight for me when hubby gets home.

it is 1:30 am, hubby and I are working as a tag team, hopefully she will stay asleep for the rest of the night, waiting another 30 minutes before i try to also go to bed, it is easier to stay up than to get up half asleep.

evening meal did not go as planned, at least I had some cold chicken in the fridge.

All I can say is sleep while you can! I tend to forget how hard that was after having my daughter - I was so sleep deprived for like a whole year!

Bit more sleep last night, will be doing a little coaching tonight to ensure form is perfect for my son after weeks of physio. It is so easy for him to pick up non lifting injuries with his hyper mobile joints. The lifting is a big factor in preventing injury. Then I can get in a training session for myself while has his MMA class.

some muscles are harder to work than others, most of coaching session will be targeting the Serratus Anterior.

Feel you on the hyper mobile joints. My bro and I both have hyber mobile hips and have to be pretty careful about letting our knees come out too far to the side when squatting.

This time around it was my sons shoulder giving problems, last time it was his lower back, almost all of his joints are hyper mobile and it is only the extensive strength training that had kept him away from a lot of injuries.
