Yea i try to buy pure juice but like in this case one not sweeted with syrup.
I know we´re knocking you a bit hard on this one but I just want it to be completely clear because I see the long-term effects of badly managed diabetes with some regularity: even pure, freshly pressed juice is horror for diabetes patients and has the same amount of simple sugar as coke (in the case of orange juice). The reason why fresh fruit is better than juice is that it comes with a ton of fiber, which slows the absorption process so much that your blood sugar doesn´t really spike. That goes even for many veggie juices.

Well being borderline diabetic my sugar level dances around but nothing dangerous. I have been craving friut lately so i probably need to invest in a juicer.

Nooo! Please don't juice your fruit. Just eat it whole. Or at least blend it up instead of juicing; that way you'll still get all that lovely fiber.

Weigh in day
I lost 7 more pounds so that's a total loss of 74 pounds. Now at 426 i should be out of the 400's in a few months........ Maybe
I guess a few weeks ago when i didnt lose any weight my body was throwing some sort of fit.

So glad to hear the weight loss got going again! It´s so frustrating when you´re doing all the right things and nothing´s happening. :grouphug:

Just curious: is this the same kind of food you would have eaten 6 months ago but in smaller amounts or have you changed a lot of things around?

OMG no. 6 months ago there would have been a coke in my hand constantly. I would drink about 6 a day. 3-4 glasses of sweet tea, 2 or 3 beers. There there were glasses of milk and the really sweet coffee shop drinks. I would drink in more calories than i eat now.
Food like the meats were mostly deep fried and things like tacos and not just 2 or 3. The german and irish food i would have often isnt calorie friendly. Buffets 1-2 times a week and i guess the thinking was to have one of everything.
Now i drink water and unsweet tea. A diet soda here and there. Coffee i sweeten with a little soy or almand milk. Things like oatmeal instead of adding a 1/4 cup of sugar i use a little peanut butter or lately ive been using my low carb prorein powder. My meals always had potatoes or pasta and i have those very seldom.
I still eat the same meats but they are normally baked or broiled or maybe pan grilled/ fried with like 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Things like canned tuna are always a safe bet and i happen to love it.
So yea i changed what i eat and how its cooked. I still have large plates of food. I have always had a big appetite. I just really watch the sugar as much as possible.
