Thanks Cory, things have actually been a lot better since our initial consultation - it wasn't even a therapy session, just a bunch of behavior questions. I'd like to think she heard us talking about her behavior and something clicked? She's still got the temper, but has been reeling it in.
Re: 22 lbs, I'm actually ahead of "schedule", it just doesn't feel as amazing, like I think the 40# mark will be. I did remember earlier, though, that about a year ago I clocked in around 380#. I had been avoiding scales for entirely too long, so when I did it (in a Dr. office) I muttered "Holy shit you fat fuck." The nurse heard me, and said "don't worry, we don't judge!" Maybe not, but I sure did. Still, it didn't motivate me to really get going.
And exercise is totally great stress relief. I absolutely need to do it daily (or almost daily) to feel better - physically, emotionally and mentally.
