haha! Nope! We've done a lot of baby-making this week though, so maybe in a couple weeks....? :D

Hear that everybody? Chef's gettin' some!!!

lol! You guys! :D

Well, my brother headed back down south today. Hate to see him go, but it'll be nice getting back to our normal routine. This weekend I'll be working and we're going to do a little Halloween shopping.... Decorations... not candy! We both love Halloween, so this time of year is not kind to our pocketbooks. lol! It's also Chef's birthday, so that makes it extra fun! :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :pumpkin:

Weighed myself today, and I'm only down another pound. I'm not too concerned about it, because every single time I start exercising the scale stalls for a couple weeks. So it's not a big shocker to me. I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing. The scale will catch up eventually. :)

Hope everyone has a great weekend. I'll catch up on diaries tomorrow probably. :)

Thank you, my lovely forum friends! :)

I didn't do too hot yesterday. We ended up going downtown for lunch, which is a cute little area with lots of little shops and restaurants. One of the shops is Kilwin's, a chocolate shop. I didn't get chocolate, but they had a huge display of caramel apples and popcorn balls for Halloween. I bought both, and I ate both of them yesterday. My calories weren't too horrible, a few hundred above maintenance, but I still feel guilty for caving to temptations. It was a fun day though. And let's be realistic, every single day is not going to be perfect.

I'm going to be getting on the treadmill in a little bit here. I also need to work today, and we have some Halloween things to do with the kids tonight!

I'm feeling pretty good. Even though I cheated a little yesterday, I'm still super motivated to lose weight. I'm hopeful that this is our month for getting pregnant. This will be our 7th month of trying. Although, really it's only like the 2nd, because the first five were before my surgery and finding out my tubes were completely blocked. There was no possible way I was getting pregnant before, so it's only been the last couple(since surgery)that we've had a real shot at conceiving. So *fingers crossed* that this is our month. :) If it's not our month, I'll be taking my temperature again every morning to keep track of ovulation, starting with my next cycle. I did that before surgery. It's kind of a pain in the butt, but it pinpoints ovulation down to the day. I'm not exactly getting any younger here, so anything that might help speed up the process is great. The doctor offered to put me on a low dose fertility drug as well. After my surgery he was like..."If nothing happens in the next 6 months, come back and we'll see about a low dose fertility drug..... or if you want, we can start that now?" The words "fertility drug" conjured up images of twins or triplets in my head. It was a scary thought and I noped the hell out of that. haha! But, we do have other options down the road if we choose to use them. Hopefully we won't need them though!

Well, Chef just got done with the treadmill, so I guess it's my turn! I hope everyone is having a great weekend! :)

Yeah, not everyday is going to be perfect. Don't beat yourself up. Good luck with getting pregnant. I hope you have a great weekend too.

G & I had been trying to have a baby for about 6 months when my SIL gave me some advice. She asked me if, after sex, I usually got up & went to the toilet. I said I usually did. She said "Give the little buggers a chance!" She advised me to even prop a cushion under my bum. I was pregnant within 2 months :D

Cate, I do usually lay there for a little bit. Haven't done the pillow trick yet though! lol!

Well.. my day is not off to a great start. I probably just pissed off my friend by a LOT. She needed a huge dose of reality, and I bluntly gave it to her. She probably won't be speaking to me for a while. It was a "you need to grow up and look at yourself" type of thing. Some people just refuse to see things for how they really are, and take responsibility for their own actions.

In better news... today is Halloween!! :pumpkin::pumpkin::pumpkin:

I have not bought a single bag of candy yet. I might pick up a small bag of something today though. We'll be taking the kids trick or treating tonight, but we might get a few trick or treaters before we leave or after we get home. I'll make sure to buy something I'm not too crazy about. lol!

I did the treadmill yesterday. I'm definitely off track on my Mon, Wed, Fri exercise thing, but I am still getting in my 3 days a week.

I live in a complex with the most impossible doorbell system, so I have no reason to buy anything sweet. I liked dressing up as a kid but polishing doorknobs for candy would have mortified me.

I just looked back at what I said & that sounded a bit blunt. :blush5: I was really embarrassed when my SIL said that, but it worked :)
3 days on the treadmill is good Jen, even if they weren't M, W, F. I like that you & Chef are queueing up for the treadmill :D

Yeah, I stopped trick or treating when I was around 9 or 10, because I HATED the whole process.. going up to a strangers house, knocking on the door, AND I have to TALK TO THEM?.. I don't think so! haha! My kids weren't too crazy about it to begin with, but they both love it now. We went to a trunk or treat last night and then went to some neighborhood houses. My daughter's friend came with us and they all the crap scared out of them at a couple of the houses. Good times. haha!

I've got candy to give out but our kids are too old to go out so once our candy is gone we'll be done with it.
We now have a two huge bowls of candy. ...well my kids do. I'm trying to ignore it. lol!

Oh, Cate. We're not exactly shy in the sex talk around here. ;) You gave me a good chuckle... and good advice! No worries at all! :p

Willpower. That's what I'm going to need to stay out of the gross amount of candy that is sitting on our counter right now. Our kids made out like bandits last night! We went to a trunk-or-treat, which was much bigger than the previous time we went, so they got a lot of candy right there. Then we went to a few houses and it was toward the end of the night when people were giving out handfuls. So yeah, lots of candy in the house right now. lol! Must. Resist.

It was a fun night though!

Here's our pumpkins. My son wanted Batman and my daughter, being the teenager that she is now, did an emoji. haha!

I plan on doing the treadmill tonight! We're having tacos for dinner! mmmmm. :D

Very impressive pumpkin carving. Hide the candy or get the kids to take out what they want and donate the rest to the Food Bank. That way - no temptations-lol.

Jen- I got reported for saying something " inappropriate and offensive" the other day in the forum & it did give me a bit of a shock. I think it was taken a bit out of context, but it did really surprise me & has made me feel a bit wary.
What is trunk or treat?
