Yep summer resurgence here too...walked anyway...at least I broke a good sweat.
Whatever it takes to get me to sweat I am okay with that.

It's been beautiful here the few days, but I think it's supposed to cool down this weekend. As long as it's not snowing I'm good. I don't know why I live in Michigan... lol!
Ain't nothin' wrong with that!Eating has been good. Weight is good. Nothing else to report.

I have this mental image of cowboy running in cowboy boots wearing snowshoes! LOL
Any snow up in the great white north yet cowboy
I doubt that somehow!
Kicking butt Cowboy! Nice running!

Don't be ridiculous. I'm sure he rides a moose named 'Hockey' instead and drinks maple syrup straight out of trees. Something, something Canadian stereotypes.
I feel you on the apple pie, Cowboy. It's always pecan or cherry at just about every gathering I attend but I crave apple more than anything.
We had Chinese buffet last Friday with coworkers and I used to get 3-4 plates each time I'd go. I got 2 reasonable sized plates this time and I felt SO bloated and sore. I can really tell that my capacity to gorge on foods has diminished.
No snow for us, high of 77F today and 60s for the rest of the week. Weather still feels like late August. It's been high 40s low 50s in the mornings though and I've really been enjoying walking in it. I might have to invest in some good gloves if I'm going to be walking outside a lot now.
I can´t hear the word Canada without thinking about "Due South". But... I just googled the guy who played Fraser and he did not age well. O well, another bubble burst.
Canada is on my "must visit" list, but I will try to avoid Winter. I'm a bit of a sook when it comes to real cold. I have a niece who owns a restaurant, with her husband, in BC & I must visit her there one day! Our younger son was considering staying in Canada, but luckily for us, settled back here in Tassie.
My body does not process desserts well, especially ones with cream. One advantage of going wheat-free(almost totally gluten-free) is that it imposes a limit on fattening temptations. Rather than feel this is a bad thing I now look on it as a plus. Whenever I do have something I almost always feel gluggy & uncomfortable. I love almost all fruit & that satisfies my sweets cravings.
Maintenance is tricky, but I think it's good to still look on some foods as being a little bit dangerous. We do not want to go back there!
