Looking to lose an extra human I apparently picked up along the way

Made Lucy's chia seed pudding last night and had it this morning. Two thumbs up. Quite tasty. Some possible adjustments:

1. Maybe a more neutral sweetener than Maple Syrup, like maybe honey. Not sure.
2. I'll probably add a dash of cinnamon next time.
3. The splash of vanilla is crucial.
4. Might use whole milk next time instead of skim.
5. Ate the first half without any topping and it was still very good, but adding raisins midway through did give it a little more.

When I first mixed the thing, I wondered how the hell this was going to thicken, but I guess one of the properties of chia seeds is that they become gel-like when they absorb liquid. So it had a nice consistency this AM. I think with whole milk the consistency might even get thicker. I will be eating this again.

LaMa if it's "just a tally" why would it be a well known member? I should explain that "Tally Wacker" or "Tally" is a synonym for the same body part as "member" in the United States.

Okay enough weiner jokes. I showed your picture to E without prompting and she said you look like House. Still a Hugh (Hugh Laurie). Not as high a compliment as Jackman, but he's a good looking dude. I will add a younger version of him. Either way, some dude that makes his living in large part by his attractiveness.

I'll try the chia pudding soon too I think, but maybe with almond milk....mm & cinnamon.
I had never heard the word tally used that way. The mind boggles. I had to be so careful in the US. Every time someone said fanny I thought it sooo funny. A fanny in Australia is certainly not a derriere.
I think you are looking really good these days too Vee. The "beard" suits you.

I've always wanted to try that. Is the consistency like 'regular' pudding or does it have a grainy feel to it?

Third page? No, no, no. That simply won't do.

Fortunately nothing too bad has befallen me, but still sort of stuck in the low 170s. Was ready to break into the 160s, and then a Super Bowl party happened. Strength is up, though, which is a good thing.

Baseball Spring Training starts in about three weeks and so it's about to get very crowded and busy around here. It had been unseasonably chilly for a few months, but now finally the good stuff is here. In the low 80s all week this week. Walked around all over the place yesterday soaking it all in.

Over a month without a beer. Off to the gym, light cardio and then pull day.

I was about to send out a search party so am glad you're back. A month without beer Vee? Well done!

173.5 this morning. Hit a PR record or two during my push workout this AM. YAY!

As a reward I'm taking a day trip to Sweden! Now there was a time where doing so from Arizona was difficult, but thanks to the miracle of IKEA, it's now a simply drive down the highway. Looking for a table type thing to extend my kitchen so I have more counter space for all my stuff. Bigger kitchen = more likely to make healthy things than buy pre-packaged not so good stuff.

I added some sweetened cocoa to Lucy's chia seed pudding recipe and my god was that some good stuff. Starting to sprinkle a few chia seeds on my morning oatmeal as well.

Weather forecast today = sunny with a high of 84 = paradise.

171.5 this morning.

Wound up buying a few brackets and a piece of something that i think is wood, but can't be sure. Anyhow, for under $25 I had a sturdy shelf. Problem was I had no stud finder, and so I turned to the internet since it knows everything. Check this:

So I bought a pack of 4 super strong little magnets, and it works! That's rare for youtube tips. But it really does work. Shelf installed, and I now have more counter space.

We all know your stud finder blew up when you stuck it in your pocket.
I nearly killed someone. As I brought it closer to me, it shot out of my hands like a rocket away from me and across the store.

It nearly killed a guy with neck tattoos who was wearing an Affliction shirt.

My husband says thanks for the tip, I just showed him the clip
I LOVE Youtube. Only this morning I got a really good one off there for making my finger rings smaller without having to use those infuriating plastic clips.

Is that a stud finder in your pocket...
One of my favorite jokes: "Is that a flashlight in your pocket or are you just... Wait yeah, it's a flashlight."
