2 tbsp minced garlic
1-2 tsp salt (start with 1/2 tsp, go from there)
1 tbsp cumin
1-2 tsp each cinnamon and chili powder

Lemme know if you need help interpreting my hen scratch!

Rewritten for the benefit of all:

Chicken Tomatillo Mistake for 2
1 boneless chicken breast, diced
2 tomatillos, sliced
1 16 oz can white beans
1 small white or Bermuda onion
2 tbsp. minced garlic (2-3 minced cloves)
Salt to taste (I need to update that part of the recipe, but start around 1/2 tsp and go from there)
1 tbsp. cumin
1-2 tsp cinnamon
1-2 tsp chili powder
Little bit of oil

Add the garlic to a hot oiled sauce pan, followed by the chicken, and keep stirring. When the chicken starts to brown/sear, drop the heat to low and add the rest of the ingredients. Simmer until the tomatillos eventually dissolve and make the whole thing thick.

Enjoy!

*WooHoo* Thanks LJ! :grouphug:

Update & Plans:

Weigh In: 185.4 :hurray: lost 1/2 lb this week.. Have lost 5.2 lbs total so far...

I was so SCARED :leaving: I was gonna gain bc of adding food back to my life... lol
The BUSY week I've had has helped burn cals with all the running around, scrub cleaning and such tryin' to play catch up..
Tomorrow is grocery store, Saturday is out all day w/hubby looking at rentals and Sunday I will start back my fitness routine.
Saturday I will get some light walking in due to the community we will be looking at. Their rental property is huge and they have 10 acres of ponds, walking trails and so forth. They even have their own library, fitness area and enormous pool.

Gosh, I can almost taste the 170's! Haven't been there in a year and a half!:eek::oops:

Once I reach 174ish, I will be able to fit into so many things that have been boxed away that are so cute...

I have 20 lbs to lose total now to reach a major Goal Point that I haven't seen in 12+ years! Once there, I can then evaluate to see if I keep going or if I'm at my Goal Weight.

I'm hopeful and excited! :cool::applause:

Don't listen to Oaks! LHOTP Rocks! She's as stuck up as Nelly or as goofy as Isaiah. I also like Gilmore Girls, but it got pretty awful towards the end. Maybe we're suckers for utopias? Walnut Grove and Star's Hollow are both pretty much utopian paradises. What are your feelings on The Shire?

Also, WOOHOO 170s!!!! It won't be long!

That community sounds great Stacy. Ponds, walking trails, library, swimming pool.....nice!

:D Q: It does Rock! ;) I can't wait for the last season, 9 to come out April 19th! We will then have the entire series!
Love the Shire as well! lol ...
We just ordered The King of Queens series and it will arrive Tuesday.. They just don't make enough - quality movies any longer.. So sad...
We miss going to the movies all the time like we did years ago... Just our opinion, lol... Hollywood has gone down the tubes!

The latest movie's that we truly enjoyed were A Walk in the Woods & Sicario..
A Walk in the Woods was so great and interesting since it was based on true events. We spent over an hour after the movie was over looking up the actual woods/trails and all the info re: vacation possibilities to maybe one day experience some of the adventure! That says a lot to us re: a movie well done that makes you want to look it all up and then do it!

Cate: * Fingers * Toes * & Legs crossed! :D;) We hope it works out!

Our busy weekend has now come to an end..lol ;) I'm pooped!
Goodness Gracious - so MUCH driving...
Didn't find a thing... *sigh*
The property was soooooooo nice, but they do not have anything available in our price range at the moment.
Then, we drove around other areas looking, jotting down places to look up once home and of course looking for For Lease/For Rent signs.
What is going to hurt us is most people move in the summer when kids are out of school but WE CANNOT.. July starts hubby's busy season and they are not allowed to take vacation days during July thru December.
We have also come across some great Town Home Communities in our price range - great location - beautiful property - Units coming available in April/May BUT ..........They have horrid reviews!!! Main Issue: Maintenance. Like people in the heat of Texas Summer (Triple Digit Temps) going a month or two without AC!!! One review stated that they just had to break lease and move out bc they could not handle the heat any longer, was makin' them ill... We are gettin' a little nervous now...

Saturday: Yikes - Big Splurge.. We had dinner at our Favorite Tex-Mex place, ELFenix.
We haven't had dinner out in a long while though. It was nice and of course delicious! LOL

This Week/Game Plan:

I will start slow and do the 20 minute work outs. Not easy but not as intense as my other dvd's.
I will be doing the Body Shaping Circuits. Walking Aerobics Mixed with Body Shaping Circuits with 3 lb each dumbbells.
I will see how my body/feet feel on Wednesday and decide to stay with that or increase intensity. :)

Of course back to my diet plan to.

House-hunting can be a pain in the ass. I don't know from personal experience, but I know a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy. Anyway, I'm sure you'll find something that makes you happy and fits comfortably in your price range. It just takes time.

As for your game plan for the week, I've never understood the whole "walking" DVD thing. I've never seen one so I'm ignorant to the whole concept. What do you do? Do you literally just walk? Like, around the house? On a treadmill? It doesn't make sense to have to go outside, because then you wouldn't be able to watch the DVD. I'M SO CONFUSED!!!

LOL Chef.. It's Walking Aerobics...

Click on different areas (fast forward) to see how the speed picks up... They always start slow and steady for warm up...

Some offer circuit training as well... Part Walking aerobics, then goes to pick up dumbbells and do ST moves for 1-2 minutes - back to walking aerobics. 4 - 5x u will stop for ST

I had to switch to indoor walking bc of my plantar fasciitis.. Outdoor walking is my FAVORITE...I have a great, natural speed bc of my long legs and can do 3 miles easily... BUT, the concrete is murder on my feet with these issues. :( Not to mention the hills, inclines and parts that are in bad shape/uneven.. I also have to be very careful bc of an Achilles Heel/Tendon issue. (Injury from almost 2 years ago that still flares up.) Once I tore that tendon, I was in walking boot for 6 weeks. I love the outdoors and would much rather be at the park walking.

Not everyone has that option. Plus, I can't even try to just stroll around my area at home bc we live in a BAD part of town and it's not safe.
I have to take/drive ZuZu and myself to a park in Garland/Mesquite. Cannot walk my neighborhood in Dallas or go to White Rock Lake/Park up the street..

Walk at Home | #1 Walk Fitness by Leslie Sansone

She has a short video as well..

I actually have one of the Leslie Sansone ones. I haven't done it in forever, and obviously never in front of Chef. haha!

Hi Stacy!

You are doing so awesome with the diet and exercise! Good job!!!

My hubby and I are also looking for land right now. Finding the right piece of land is not easy.

I, too, enjoy walking outdoors, but the cement is not good for my knee. I need super shock absorbing shoes! Walking on the grass is a lot easier. Hope you are off to a great start of the week!

??? I can't see your post Abby?
All posts are blank?
Anyone else havin' this issue?

Edit: Whelp, this post I just made is not showing up either.. When I clicked edit, it's of course showing what I typed out..

:applause: No more invisible posts! :D

Yay! lol

That was crazy...

Thanks Abby! :hug2:

Yep, cement is murder for those of us with issues.

I am, thanks!

Did 2 work outs today. :hurray: 45 mins Total

:waving:Thanks Jen!
I will do the Accelerated Work Out today which is pretty intense. ;)
I'm also cleaning, so that will be an extra boost. lol
