The Tattooed Lady

I decided to do the sweeping downstairs. Still need to do the bathroom and the computer room, but got the rest of the rooms swept. Put the second load of laundry in. One to go...:D I packed up some of Greene's blue jeans and put them in a bag so they'd be out of the way, but I think I packed up all of his blue jeans...:( Oh well...he can get them out Saturday when he needs them...:D I'm so mean!

Yes it's good cardio but it wears me out, but that means I'll sleep good.

Meal 1 - oatmeal, coffee
Meal 2 - cottage cheese w/fruit, oj
Meal 3 - turkey sandwich, banana, milk
Meal 4 - pecans, yogurt
Meal 5 - porkchop, corn, stuffing, tea

Need to rearrange some food around. Maybe add or take away. Still working on trying to get my carbs down. It's not as easy as I thought, but today I'm gonna try to get it down to 50% or less.

Didn't get any moving done because I spent all afternoon at my cousin's office installing software on a computer. Called mom and told her and she wasn't upset. She's just happy I can move stuff when I can. It's not mandatory that I do it. Anyway since I spent all afternoon there, I missed my lunch so I stopped and got a salad from Wendy's. I've fallen in love with their pecan/cranberry chicken salad. It also has manadrain orange slices on them...:D So with the salad, dressing, toppings and glass of milk, my carbs are down to 54%. Almost made my goal, but between now and tonight, that all can change.

I'm changing my birth control from the shot to the pill. I have to starting taking the pill the same week I was due for my shot. Again, one of the side effects is weight change. I'm hoping this doesn't mess me up to bad. I don't wanna have to start all over again. I've got less than a month, so we'll see what happens.

I've got to vent!! Found out my bc pills are $54.59... I didn't think they would be that much, but that's what happens when you don't have insurance. Instead of paying $120 every 3 months, it's that much a month, unless I go to planned parenthood. I've see the pills costing $16 when my friend was on them. The only problem with going there is that's it's an hour away and I would have to take Ash with me, but the good thing is that Greene could pick them up for me. Another problem is Greene doesn't know that I started them. I thought I would have to wait until the depo wore off and I got the TOM before I started them. He also doesn't like my dr, so he wanted me to find another one. I on the other hand, haven't had a problem with the dr, so why change? Anyway..now I know how much they are, but I still feel...

Oh yes I know. One is enough for me and my son (actually my step-son) is 17, so I have one that is grown and one that is 6. That's enough for me..:D

Good news, I made my goal, but I'd like to know how I did it.. Guess I'm gonna have to eat salads for every lunch, but trust me, that's not a bad thing. I love them. I also tried to drink juice for breakfast on top of the milk and coffee, but I got full, so I'll just switch on and off. I also tried not to have raisins and just the strawberries, but I like the raisins too much. Oh yea, I forgot to mention last night that I had half of glass of tea before bread, so add 2 cals on top of calories I had.

Meal 1 - oatmeal, coffee, milk
Meal 2 - cottage cheese w/fruit
Meal 3 - salad, milk
Meal 4 - turkey smoked sausage, peppers, cottage cheese, tea
Meal 5 - pb, wasa crispbread

*Edit - Half of glass of tea. Keep forgetting to put that in, so add another 2 cals.

Picked up my pills and went to go get lunch. Bought 2 salads, one for today and one for tomorrow. All was going good until I dumped my salad all over the floor, now I gotta figure out what to have for lunch tomorrow..

Ash brought home the left over mini cupcakes from her party on Friday yesterday and I haven't touched one. I'm doing better on the junk, hardly touch it anymore, unless it is a special occasion. I've conquered the fried potatos, but need to work on the stuffing. The stuffing is another weakness, but I rarely eat it anymore. When I fixed it the other night for supper, I couldn't tell you the last time I made it. It was months and months ago.

I never thought eating clean M-F would be so easy, but it is. I always tell myself if I want to cheat now, then I can't cheat later on during the week (or whatever day is my planned cheat day), so that keeps me going. The weekends are usually cheat days, at least Saturday is. Sunday I try to get back on track, but sometimes it doesn't work.

Eating out is becoming easier and easier also. I never thought that would happen. Now the only thing I eat from fast food is salads. It's been about a month or so since I had a hamburger and fries. If I eat fast food, it's a kid's meal. Smaller portions and not so greasy (well, still greasy, but not as much as a regular meal). I think the last kid's meal I had was Long John Silver's. The last time I ate out at a restaurant, I had steak (and side of 8 pc shrimp), baked potato (with butter and sour cream), cottage cheese (instead of salad), white bread and tea.

So now the only 2 things I have to work on is the 40, 30, 30%'s and getting more cardio. As you know these are hard things for me. This week has been hectic because of moving stuff from one apt to another. I didn't do any ddr at all, so that's something to work on. I just need to get off my lazy a@@ and do something, even if it's just going up and down the stairs.

Meal 1 - oatmeal, coffee, juice
Meal 2 - salad, tea
Meal 3 - yogurt, crackers
Meal 4 - beef chow mein, noodles, cottage cheese, tea
Meal 5 - pb, crispbread, celery

Ty my dear. Little half way to go to reach my goal. We'll see how much I lose since it's weigh-in tomorrow. Not getting my hopes up, just going with the flow.

Yesterday was my cheat day. It could have been worse, but it could have been better.

Meal 1 - oatmeal, coffee, milk
Meal 2 - egg white, string cheese, nectarine
Meal 3 - tuna salad w/pickle, bread, celery, pb, tea
Meal 4 - doughnut, diet dr pepper
Meal 5 - 1/2 lb cheesy bean and rice burrito, fiesta potatos, diet dr pepper

Need to go to the store today since I didn't go yesterday. Hoping to get back on track today.

Went to the stores and got everything we needed. I hate carrying all the bags in but since Greene and his son wasn't here, guess who got stuck doing it..:D Got all the stuff I needed plus more. I got Greene his ice cream so he'll shut up. I put it in the deep freezer in the laundry room, so it's not easily accessible for me. I also got some yogurt, but it's not light or fat free. I know that probably wasn't a good thing, but it whipped in some yummy flavors and I only got 4 of them, so it's not like I went completely overboard with it. My 2nd meal was way later than normal because of the shopping but I wasn't starving starving, just hungry.

I should have took my own advice, but the weekends are hard. I had a corndog and 6 onion rings, but I ate the recommended portions. Oh well, Monday is do over day. Still hungry after eating and I have one more meal. I'm not touching the ice cream. Nope, not gonna do it...:D

I tried the yogurt last night after I put ash to bed. OMG..it tasted so good. It was yogurt but it was the consistancy of mousse....:D I woke up 3:30 this morning with a stomach pain. It was either hunger or upset stomach, but when I drank some water, it went away. I figured it was hunger. Didn't eat very healthy yesterday and with the yogurt being the last meal..bad idea.

Meal 1 - oatmeal, coffee, milk
Meal 2 - cottage cheese w/fruit, diet dr pepper
Meal 3 - ham slices, apple, string cheese
Meal 4 - corn dog, onion rings
Meal 5 - yogurt

The house is a mess. Looks like you know what I get to do today. I also did three loads of laundry yesterday and there's one in the washer as we speak.

Supper is going to be boneless bbq'd ribs baked in the oven. I'm sure it's gonna be a high meal, maybe almost a cheat meal, but haven't had it in awhile and Greene likes them. Going to have baked potatos and mac and cheese w/it. Not sure what I'm going to have in the place of mac and cheese, but I'll figure it out.
