A low calorie, sweet, fat free and sodium free dish!
- 1 large red onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. olive oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 medium Granny Smith apples, chopped
- 2 medium Bartlett pears, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
- COOK and stir onion in hot oil in large skillet until onion is tender.
- ADD remaining ingredients; simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
