Hi I'm new to the forum but not new to healthy eating & trying to lose weight! I was always a chubby kid but in the last 4 years have managed to lose about 2 stone & I'm aiming to lose another 1 & a half to 2 stone!!

I'm creating this journal for motivation really, I started healthy eating 7 days ago again as Christmas really threw me off! as well as getting back to the gym. But I'm finding it hard to stop myself from snacking daily still on random pieces of chocolate, sweets ect & I'm sure it's all adding up!!

Anyway hopefully by keeping track of my daily meals, snacks & exercise on a forum for you all to see I'll continue on & reach my goal weight & make long lasting life style changes too! Really it's about feeling comfortable in my own skin. I have a constant obsession with my body, all it's pudgy bits (there are many) & I want to finally feel happy with myself! Wish me luck!;)

Oohh I forgot to add that my start weight is 141lbs! To kick it off the food I ate today:

Breakfast:
1 banana, 1 pot of strawberry muller rice - yummy! & 1 teeny tiny pot of chocolate yogurt. It was only 50kcal!

Lunch:
Nothing too exciting! Just a tin of Heinz tomato soup & a slice of bread

Dinner:
150g of wholewheat past with 40g tomato purree for flavour with 100g of chicken.

Snacks:
2 squares of Lindt creamy chocolate, 3 squares of Cadbury dairy milk & a small bag of wot sits.

So today wasn't too great with snacking! But hey I got some exercise in, about 120 minutes of waking:) I can't resist chocolate when it's in the house & it always is!:( I also had a coffee & tea this morning with sweetners & semi skimmed milk in.

Hi UJ & welcome to the forum. Well done on the 2 stone lost already & 120 minutes of walking yesterday.(it's Thursday morning here).
Do you have to have chocolate in the house? Were you hungry with the amount of food you ate yesterday? Try to have some protein with each meal to help fill you up. Look forward to seeing you get to goal weight. Once again, a great big welcome! Cheers, Cate.
