wow that is a very small amount of calories you are eating! how do you feel?
I have to kind of force-feed me most of the time so I have to eat at least 4 times a day
it is crazy

I think I just lost my appetite. It was an emotional day yesterday and today and my stomach wasn't reacting too well with food. The ramen also was mostly soup, so drinking a pot of that with noodle made me feel really full. I'm actually surprised looking at the calories myself! :eek: Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to eat some more without wanting to hurl :ack2: I did feel myself lacking energy today, so I clearly must not getting enough, yikes!

I will try to maybe do what you're doing and break up my eating time into four or five parts. Maybe throwing in some snack time throughout the day will help!

I know how you feel sometimes I just don't want to eat
unfortunately for me, getting emotional ment.. EATING more!

eating small portions helps when you don't feel like eating much. also it keeps your sugar leves up so it would be less likely to eat the ''wrong'' kind of food or have late cravings.

I'm pretty sure I need to be eating more or something. I guess being picky and eating healthy food make it harder to exceed my daily caloric intake. I thought the pizza might help rev it up a little. Interesting.

Hitting the gym. Be back in an hour.

I know it is very hard to get all your calories through veggies, fruits and lean meat. I usually add granola and currently cottage cheese or milk to help.
mmh pizza... darn. I haven´t had pizza in a month. that is the first thing I am having when I lose weight. that and french fries. ..drools. haha

Wow, granola actually sounds REALLY good right now for some reason. Granola on top of yogurt parfait. Okay I'm drooling now! :drooling: Does it make me look dumb if I say I don't know how to eat cottage cheese? How do I eat that? I'm serious! Hahaha, do I put stuff in it or put it in stuff?

136 pounds! That's four pounds in a week. I'm off to a pretty good start. I didn't know eating out could do so much harm. This is great as I was only expecting to lose a pound a week for eight weeks. I'm already halfway there!

Workout was okay today. I feel like the class isn't as intense as I had hope, but I'm just glad to be moving around instead of sitting down all the time. Another thing I noticed is that I'm able to pass up post workout smoothies! I used to get a smoothie after every workout before, but the four days I went to the gym, I was able to walk right past the smoothie counter. I think it was more of a habit to buy one than me actually wanting one. Also, I ate that pizza for lunch about twenty minutes before I went to the gym, so I could definitely hear it screaming in my stomach. Not doing that next time.

NOT TO MENTION, this super nerdy looking, awkward white girl with big poofy, curly hair wore some really tight, bright pink booty shorts. AND I WAS RIGHT BEHIND HER. Saw her ass flapping everywhere, not what I needed. I tried closing my eyes half the time I was working out. Oh my eyes.. my virgin, virgin eyes..

haha cottage cheese is tricky. what I do is I add it to fruit and then I add the granola on top of the cheese and a bit of honey if necessary. actually cottage cheese and honey work really well! also on pancakes or waffles but yeah, I rather have fruit right now :blush5:

I should eat something before my biology lab later today, but for now it's nap time until my organic chemistry class starts.
 
So today was a rough day. I started getting a headache before my organic chemistry class so I took a nap. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed and was pissed for no reason and my headache continued. After my chem class, I only had an hour to make something QUICK and chow down before my three hour long biology lab, so I ate ramen, an egg, and a couple of lit'l smokies. Kind of an odd meal.

Total calories for the day: 1,321

Something is wrong with that number, but it's the same even after double checking. I guess I need to find out how much I should be eating before worrying about whether I'm eating too little or too much.

My headache is driving me nuts as I type. I have no class tomorrow, but I do have to meet up with an old friend of mine to hit the gym at 1130 in the morning. Oh, and as much as I would love to pop some Tylenols and take a nap, I actually have to meet up with a friend tonight and study for my organic chemistry midterm on Friday. I am sick of learning about molecules, but at least certain ones can somehow make my headache go away. Guess I'll have to do with the pills and do without the nap.

Mike, PLEASE do my homework for me. I would so appreciate that. I actually used to hate oatmeal, but since I kept hearing it's good for the body, I just gave it another shot. I've come to like it!

I ended up going to the library at 0100 this morning and stayed there until 0530 studying some organic chemistry with my friend. I slept until about twelve (dreamed about studying molecules & counting carbons, HAHA) and slacked off until my workout class at four fifteen. I kind of regret not taking advantage of my free day to study, but I'll get to that in a bit.

I didn't eat much so far today. Whenever I sleep in, I lose my appetite for the rest of the day. I guess my stomach still thinks I'm sleeping so it doesn't work as hard? I don't know. Anyway, since I can't just ignore my body, I forced myself to eat a little.

"Breakfast" - woke up late
1 English muffin with an egg

"Lunch" - to have energy while working out
1 white bread with a tablespoon of super chunky peanut butter

I'm going to stay up late again tonight to study. The organic chemistry midterm is tomorrow and I haven't studied as much as I should have for it, a;lkdfja;dfj OH THE STRESS :banghead:

What did you focus on in your biology major? I'm majoring in biology, focusing on physiology. I hate all chemistry, but I like organic chemistry a lot more than general chemistry. It's still killing me though. I'm so with you on history! It was great in elementary school, but not so much now!

Yup! No worries, I totally agree, so I had a HUGE, but healthy dinner! I went out to eat before heading to the library. I ordered rice (three cups) and this huge bowl of their rice cake soup. It was so good and so worth the extra calories (if any happens to be extra).

I also worked out "yesterday" (since it's already 0227). It was great, a lot of moving around, etc. The usual.

Net calories: 1,057

Apparently I should be getting 1,360 calories a day.

I have a FAT organic chemistry test later today, so I've been studying in the library up until about ten minutes ago. I wanted to come back and study in the comfort of my own home tonight. Pulling yet another all nighter and I have an organic chemistry LAB at 0830 :( !!

Life of a premed student -- it's terrible. For me anyway. Whenever I want to take a nap, eat, workout, or have any "me" time, I feel like I'm wasting my opportunity to study or get ahead in my classes. It's sucks even more to feel like I don't really want to be a doctor. I feel like I'm just doing it to do it now. Probably going through the sophomore slump.

Okay, that's it for break time. Back to studying.

i kinda stayed within the limits of botany

I have respect for people who study that. Why? I can never seem to stay awake when studying plants, hahaha. It bores me to tears. I'm amazed at those who seem to appreciate botany. Kind of jealous in a way. Plants are awesome living matters, but just not for me.

Well, screwed studying at three and went to bed instead. Skipping biology today to make room for some chemistry reviewing.

hey girl how have you been doing?
I can't help with the biology/chemistry classes but all the history, art, literature etc, I am your girl :p my first mayor is in universal literature focused on epic literature and my current second major is in visual arts and media, focused on photography.

we are all geeks in here int seems haha
