Hello Everyone!
I'm Zaffy (real name Denise/Den)...you can call me Zaffy or Den ..whichever ..lol
I'm from Suffolk in the UK
I'm 41 yrs old
Starting this Diary in the hope it will help me to reach my goal weight and give me a new lease of life as such...
OK, i am 5ft 5.5 and am currently 187 pounds
I was approx 70 lbs lighter than my heaviest almost a yr ago but have managed to put some back on the past 6 months..
All being that i was doing well on my weight loss til last april , when my soon to be ex-husband decided to leave me for another woman...
Which of course turned my life upside down...
Am still in a bit of an upheavel in other matters going on in my life but need to get a grip of my weight b4 i end up being back where i started at 237 lbs..
I'm going to try my best because as well as a new me, i need to build myself a new life in other ways also, which i am slowly getting there having made a lot of new friends since passing my motorbike test, which was something i had always wanted to do as a teen , but always got put off it over the yrs, and seeing as i am able to do as i please now as such thats what i did !
I also want to fit into some smaller clothes too that arent cover-up and boring..
I have always had my weight go up and down over the yrs, as a teen i was slim, and it wasnt til i started having children that my weight really seemed to balloon
I have 3 children aged 13,11, and 7, and really now there is no excuse to try and get back to being the slim person i once was
Anyhow, i did follow the Slimming World diet/plan which was what helped me lose 70 lbs, but am finding it hard to get re-motivated back into the plan, so am going to sort of follow it loosely and do my own thing as well....

I do also have a Gym membership, which hasnt been getting a lot of use lately
So i need to get back into the excercise 'mode' too
Another ambition of min for a long time is to try and get into the fitness industry?..perhaps train to be a personal trainer or take excercise classes..but being that i'm now 41, am wondering wether i am too old, also i need to give up smoking which doesnt help
But i'm going to try and ease myself back into it slowly and hope i dont succumb to all the sweet/chocolate foods ..
i need to stop feeling sorry for myself, moping around, and get on and do things
Going to make myself a piczo website i think with b4 and after pics and just general things that happen in my life, as a sort of record too...
I will post back in here daily (i hope)
With my food/excercise logs and daily ramblings
Anyhow better get on with it!
Hope i havent 'bored' you all too much !!
I do ramble on a bit sometimes..
But look forward to getting to know some of you and giving and receiving support on our journeys
