Ok...this is it! This is the last time I'm going to lose this weight. I'm going to keep it off for good this time. I'm re-committing myself to a healthy lifestyle, gotta stay active!
I lost 15 pounds a few years ago and managed to keep it off for a year and a half (man, it felt so good!)...then I moved, changed jobs, etc and let fitness slide to the back of the priority list. I've gained back the 15 I lost and a few extra. *cries*
I WILL KEEP IT OFF THIS TIME!! I will NOT be a couch potato any longer! I'm going to get off my butt and MOVE!
My goal is to lose 19 lbs, I've lost 2 so far. The goal is 2 lbs per week. I bought my daughter a Wii and Wii Fit for her birthday ... ok, I really bought it for me.
But hey, she doesn't have to know that. I bought myself the Personal Trainer "game" to go with it, hoping that will help as well...though to be honest I haven't used it yet. Maybe tonight? I enrolled my daughter in after school care and she starts tomorrow. Now I have no excuse not to go to the gym (that my job gave me a free one month pass to) after work. It appears the planets and stars are aligning and the time is now for me to get back on track so I'm going to snap to it. (Pray for me!)
I joined this site because I really need someone or some thing to help me be accountable. When left to my own devices I'm afraid I'll lose my focus. I'm trying to get a coworker to take this journey with me...but she hasn't made up her mind yet and if I keep waiting I'm not going to lose this weight.
One other thing I wanted to add, I'm considering cutting all eat except fish from my diet. I know I'll get my "southern girl" card revoked for saying that in public, but I don't eat it all that much anyway. Just something I'm considering...I'll see how that goes.
I want to do this as much for myself as for my daughter. I want to be a good example for her, all around. So, off I go....

I had planned to run to Subway for lunch and get a salad, but a co-worker just walked in and handed me chicken wings.
Yea...I ate 'em. *cries* I'm not going to stress over it, it's not like I ate a huge bowl of potatoes for lunch...it's protein and I need protein to build lean body muscle, right?

and a Diet Coke

Maybe I'll get to that Wii Fit tonight. My daughter started After School today, but I forgot my workout clothes. *sigh* I'll do better tomorrow, PROMISE!
