Hello Everyone!
Long time member, first time posting a journal.. I have read through these posts for a few years now and I have obtained a lot of valuable information. Along my journey I have had a lot of success and equal amounts of failure. I guess I could be classified as the Yo-Yo type of weight loss personality. At my highest weight, I was 376 pounds. I am currently weighing in at 354 pounds. About a year and a half ago I had managed to get down to 262 pounds and was pretty happy. I had changed my lifestyle and was on my way to my goal weight of 220 pounds. I eventually fell off the wagon and my trips to the gym started to come few and far between and my eating habits went back to the ways of the past.. So it is no surprise to me as to why I gained a lot of the weight back. My problem is I am really aggressive from the start and then I gradually loose focus and fall back to old habits. I truely blame no one but myself as it is me who is fighting this challenge of getting back to a healthy weight. I am again eating better and going to the gym a few days a week. I would like to end up around 220 pounds, not the so called "ideal" weight, but a size that I like. As stated before I am currently 354 pounds and 6 foot 2 inches tall. I have never let my weight hold me back and I hold my weight very well. People tend to be surprised when they here me talk about how much I weigh. I am a fairly physical person in the sense that I don't sit or lay around all day. I still perform regular activities with family and do some moderate physical activity on the side. I would definately like to ramp up on my physical activity and eat more veggies.
Any and all encouragement is happily soaked in as well as any other information or crits.. Thanks everyone for reading and I wish you all success in our adventures.
