See, not that bad at all. And, you will have the bonus of starting again so I think you'll have a new low real soon.

Hey yarmiah. I'm glad you are back. I've been wondering about you! Sometimes one little thing will throw us off track for a long time. But hey, you only gained about 5 pounds and a bet some of that is water weight if you've been eating really salty foods. You will lose it in now time at all!

You can do this! Just stay on track and stay committed. I'm sure you can make it. And get out and walk Finn a bunch! We've been slowing down in the club without you!

Girl you couldn't have possible fallin' as far as I did!
I went off the wagon for like 6 weeks and gained back 15 pounds!!!! YIKES!!
See how much farther ahead you are.
You and I are very similiar in that we both know what we want it is just a matter of getting it done.
Now GO DO IT!!!!
Besides you came back here didn't you? That shows some amount of determination doesn't it?
Look at how many people come and go and never come back. They just stay away.
You know I am here for ya!
Take it one day, heck if ya have to, one hour at a time.
Keep at it!

A little sleepy this morning. Got up @10:00am and was going to hit the NT after getting a bit to eat, but instead, my youngest decided to scratch and peel my back. (I got a bad sunburn while on vacation last week).

Finally getting motivated and will be taking the dog for a walk when I log off. I was planning on doing it in the evening, but they are calling for rain later so best to get it done now instead of having an excuse.

Breakfast: banana
Lunch: turkey & cheese on whole wheat
Snack: lowfat yogurt with granola, rice cake
Dinner: hot dog on bun, baked french fries, salad

HI Yarmiah.

Still remember me??:waving:

It seems we all had our fair share of set-backs lately. I maintained my weight for over 6 month to gain over 5 lbs in less than 3 weeks. No exercise, on antibiotics which is kicking my rear-end and work totally has me exhausted.
but I woke up this morning and decided to put a stop to it!!!
BAck in the losing game!! :hurray:
5 lbs is not that bad gain, you will lose that in no time. I will be cheering you on!!
I am back to calorie counting, 1500 cal/day and 2 mi run in the morning on my treadmill and another 1 mi run + 30 min strenghttraining after work. I will probably alternate strenghttraining between my turbo jam DVD, my pilates DVD and my home-style boot-camp.

Talk to you soon
Hajni

Hey lady!
Good to see ya back on the boards. Seems we are always riding the same weightloss roller coaster.

I plan on kicking my exercise in full gear. Will be doing NT or my new DVD's(once they arrive) in the mornings 5-6 days a week, and hope to walk the dog most evenings as well. Packed my lunch/snacks for tomorrow: turkey n cheese on whole wheat, garden salad, nectarine, yogurt and ricecake. Bought all kinds of fresh veggies and fruits and other good for ya stuff at the store the other day- will be having oatmeal for breakfast I think.

Look forward to sharing the journey with ya . . once more!

Yeah, stumbling blocks are on the road but we will overcome them!!

I am fully energized (just finished my exercise and cooked two dishes for the rest of the week).
Your menu sounds delish!! And your exercise shedule as well.

I need to do some adjustments to my schedule as I have to be at work now most mornings by 6.30 in the morning and if I want to incorporate my 2 mi run I need to be up by 5.00 am. I will do it though.

I am only weighing myself once a week now instead of every day.

Gotta run, DD's bedtime.

Hajni

Off to a good start today.

Got up at 6am and knocked out 45 min on the NT. Ate breakfast, and had fruit for a snack and starting to get hungry for lunch but it's only an hour from now.

First day back to work after a week's vacation. Same old, same old . .boss always running behind, never enough money collected, some folks not doing their job, yadda yadda yadda, Did find out he canceled Sat so at least I'm off. May start to tackle the girls playroom which is an absolute disaster.

Breakfast: old fashioned oatmeal(really does taste better than instant)
Snack: banana, mini rice cakes
Lunch: Turkey and cheese on wheat, garden salad
Snack: gelati (soft serve with italian ice- not the best choice, but not the worse and couting the calories)
Dinner:3 pancakes, 1 slice bacon

Total calories so far: 1339

Exercise 45 min on Nt
Calories burned: 415

Just got off the NT after a 35 min session.

Pretty tired because once again, I'm not sleepying so well(I toss and turn all night). But didn't use that as an excuse and got up out of bed to exercise.

Off to make some oatmeal for breakfast and pack lunches- taking BLT today- YUM!

Love BLT's!
In fact I pretty much just love bacon in general. That is why we can't have it in this house! I will eat all of it!!! LOL
Great job getting on the NT even though you were feeling tired.
I for once actually slept well. But I did need to get up 4.5 hours after going to bed. So who knows if I would have made it all the way thru the night.

Man, was I starving! I thought Lunch time would never arrive!

Work has been a little stressful, but still manageable. Will likely make pizza for dinner as I need a quick and easy one because thursday is cleaning day. . HURRAY!

Breakfast: oatmeal, banana
Lunch: BLT with a smidge of light mayo, salad, nectarine
Snack: lowfat yogurt w/ sprinkling of granola, rice cake mini's

ah you gave me a great idea about the BLT!! I make it with veggie bacon, I think I just figured out my tomorrow's lunch. :coolgleamA:
Kudos for doing your exercise in the morning even that you felt tired. I know how hard that is!!

You are on the right road, just keep going!!

Finally feel like I got some sleep last night. I only remember tossing/turning one time. I SOOO wanted to continue sleeping when the alarm went off, but I am focused on stayin gon track and dropping the weight so I got up and knocked out 35min on the NT. Was weird, I felt like I was in slow motion for the first 10 minutes or so . . like I couldnt "get into it", but once I recognized that I changed to a Foo Fighters song and was in a groove

Friday's we usually eat out at work and today was Fuddruckers's. I made a good choice with the market toss salad (so good!) lettuce, tom, chicken, cheese, egg, bacon and only used a teaspoon or less of dressing.

Breakfast: 2 whole wheat low fat waffles & peanut butter, watermelon
Lunch: fuddruckers salad, garlic bread, gelati
Dinner: 1 Johnsonville sausage, rice pilaf, broccoli
Dessert: light microwave popcorn

Total calories: 1492

Exercise: 35 min on NT
Total calories burned: 323

Yarmiah : I had waffles for breakfast as well!!! Great minds think alike

I totally know what you mean but just going back to sleep and feeling so tired during the exercise. Do you feel that as the week progresses you lose the energy for a good exercise? I totally do. I have all the energy up till Wed and then I struggle on Thu-Fri. The 2 mi run that should take me around 22-23 minutes ended up being 30this morning, I think walked more than jogged, just felt exhausted.

Hope the rest of your day went quick!!

A satruday off . . . so much that I could do, question is, am I motivated to do any of it? LOL

Will definately tackle the lawn(yay, get exercise in) and do the laundry. I may start to attack the girls play room, which has become the collect all room for anything we can't find room for. This also means I have to take some photos and list stuff on craigslist to get it out of the house. I look forward to the arguments from my kids "but I still play with that"- like maybe you did 3 years ago! LOL

Breakfast:2 whole grain waffles, milk
Lunch: Lean pocket, popsicle
Dinner: hamburger on bread, baked french fries, corn

total calories:1138

Exercise: lawn mowing and yard work FOUR HOURS!
Calories burned: 456

Soooo Funny!!!
We all had waffles for breakfast yesterday. Mine were homemade though. I like the fact that I can control the amounts better.
Way to go on getting up and going even when you didn't want to.
Have fun "cleaning" up the girls room.
