Worst Movies Ever

Ok - so we had our favorite movies thread... now list some of the movies that were real stinkers and definitely not worth the price of admission...

Titanic - I HATED this movie... the ship sinking was the only good part I think...
Ace Ventura- When Nature Calls- I can't beleive I'll admit to having seen this movie
The Blair Witch Project - I never quite got the hype.. it was just stupid
Grease 2 - A remakethat never should have happened
Rhinestone- sylvester stallone as a country singer- Idon't think so
Showgirls- Jesse was so sweeton saved by the bell - what happened?
And pretty much any movie starring madonna- who's that girl and shanghai suprise were just awful...

Message in a bottle. Totally frustratingly sad. I hate movies like that! I wanted to go find a bottle and throw it at the tv.

Edited to add: Napolean D...hallow??? Why in the STINK did someone recommend this to me and why did I watch the WHOLE thing????? I still don't get how it got so popular.

Snakes on a Mother&$&@#(*$ plane!

did you honestly think it was going to be good? :D

I actually do want to see it but I am not expecting it to be any good -- given all the internet hype it's received... :D

You didn't like Titanic!!!! I think you're the only one in the world who didn't like that movie. Wow, I saw it about 8 times in the theatre!!

Stupid Movies:

Napoleon Dynamite--I absolutely refuse to see it.
Any movie with Chris Farley, David Spade, or Dana Carvey in it.
Any movie that has one guy playing all the dumb characters in the movie.
Any movie with Rodney Dangerfield in it. (gross pathetic slob!)

No, I'm number two. That was the stupidest movie ever made. I especially despise the part when the ship is sinking and the band in the lounge keeps playing. So Cheesy!

Ok, how about.....
Ishtar?

I have to admit I loved Napoleon Dynamite.

Oh, come on....Dickie Roberts? That was funny!

I have to say The village!!Starts out intersting somewhat
then its a stupid wivestale to keep people in tkhe village!
BLAHHHHHHHHHH:(

Oh come on. Those movies aren't bad movies they are misunderstood movies for the most part. I'll give you that "bad" movies usually lack a solid plot but if you truly pay attention to the movie makers purpose and artistic abilities, views of movies often change.
There is ALWAYS hidden and alternative meaning in movies, if a movie you are watching sucks that bad try to find it. It makes it better, promise!

I am just in love with anything in the theatre/movie making field however so I'm a bit partial.

No. It isn't. It is full of symbolism and amazing movie making techniques. I'm fine with people not liking movies, but I'll be honest. I get a bit frustrated when I hear people bad mouth movies, especially hits. The work that goes into a movie is so often overlooked and it just seems silly to say something is a "bad" movie. Now, if you just don't LIKE a movie then say it. But there is a reason the movies everyone is mentioning made millions of dollars and where top on the charts.
I know that sounds really mean but read it with a kind voice in mind and it isn't so bad, promise! I just had a hard time writing my opinion without it possibly being perceived the wrong way. I don't mean it to be mean, really!

actually no i'm not - it's one of the of all time.. :D

The romance between the two main characters was unbelievable... it's major fan base was teenage girls infatuated with leonardo... the special effects were not enough to carry the movie - In my opinion it was just bad.

yo kadie, you are one huge movie defender, but i must say not all movies that make the cash flow are good, Alot of the success goes to the pomoters of the movies, i have went to a flick just based on hype and trailers only to be disappointed but they still got my cash and numbers, making them appear successful. just my opinion man.

i don't think box office revenues have anything to do with how good a movie is or isn't... Not do I honestly think winning an academy award has much to do with how good a movie is - that seems to be based on how well the promoters did on selling the movies to the voting public.

I'll watch a movie to be entertained... I don't expect it to be a life changing event for me... some people go for the escapism of it... There are some really god awful movies that I enjoyed because they entertained me.. I'm sure that Airplane or the Big Lebowski, or the pink panther series of movies (the originals) won't ever appear on any movie critics 1000 best... but they entertained me.. they did their job.

What entertains some - doesn't entertain others... and vice versa... it's why we're all different...

Ok more bad movies... :D

Ha. Fair enough. But the plot was just so well thought out, I figured a seasoned vet like Sam Jackson thrown into the mix would make it platinum

on nepolon dynomite I was exspecting them to make him sexy or something i was disapointed but my worst movie would be the blair witch project never made sense

I still say Blahhhhhhhh to bad movies !
Back in my bad teenage days (exstoner) I could watch any movie good or bad
Lol but some just put ya to sleep and some movies now a days I think is who can put the stupidest movie out! ("coughs" scary movie 123 not another teen movie)But if you can sit through and honestly like every movie congrats!

LOL...that site is so biased! Most, I'd say 85% of the movies listed there did suck...but come on--Independence Day? Star Wars Phantom Menace? No way.

I don't think I've ever seen a bad movie! I'm with Kadie on this one.

It doesn't matter what movie, as I always can find something good about any movie.

I loved the Village. I am HUGE J.P. fan!!! oopps I forgot movies that you didn't like....

ok, some I didn't enjoy as much as others : Closer and One hour Photo. They were very abstract for me, but someone else might have liked them.
