Workout Plan; 16 year old.

Hey everyone :).

At the moment I'm a bit overweight and looking to lose some weight and eventually work up to getting fit.

I'm 5'5" (164cm) and weigh 83kg (182lb), Over the past few months I've been doing dumbbells on and off. 10kg (22lb) 20 reps, as I'm fairly lazy I'd usually do these reps, go watch a TV show or something come back and do another 20 reps.

When it comes to diet, it isn't too bad. I usually have toast for breakfast, a sandwich or something for lunch and whatever my parents cook for dinner, which is usually fairly healthy. One main problem with diet is iced coffee which I am trying to cut down on but apart from that it's alright.

Apart from these I don't really have access to any equipment. Anyway I know that weights isn't really the way to lose weight so recommendations to help me lose fat and gain muscle?

Any help is appriciated :).
 
Biggest alarm bell that will cause issues but at least you are honest enough to admit too, is that you are lazy. Fat is high energy and slow burning so if you don't use more energy than you consume there is virtually no way you will lose excess fat. Laziness will make this slower, if you are happy to accept this and take your time getting what you want that is fine, just be realistic with the effort you are willing to put in and results you expect.

There are a few threads started by Goldfish that will likely help you out, he is very good on generics, and what you want is a very generic desire so he will be a good name to look out for.

Obviously his stuff is at the start, unfortunately the latter has a load of spam posts about random and ineffective supplements but the basics from the thread starter are good.
