Workout is good after dinner?

Hi there.

I am new to workout world. Just started going to GYM. I am a student and have work too, so have a tight schedule. I can manage the exercise timings after dinner. Is it OK? Or should i exercise before having the dinner?

BTW i cant manage timings before 5PM.

having dinner, then wait for an hour before workout and then after workout a glass of milk or a banana before a sleep, sounds good??
 
I think its okay but its a lot better to wait an hour or so before you start working out. Just wait for the foods to digest a bit to avoid stomach aches or other problems.
 
Yep..You have to wait some time for workout after dinner. I think morning and evening times are ideal for workouts. Because after eating workouts idea is somewhat risk..it may cause some abnormalities (for some people) . Once you finish your workout and then go and had food. that's good.

I think it's better to workout after dinner. Because during this time, metabolism is much higher. You have probably heard the saying not to eat right before bed time. It is because going to sleep on a full stomach makes all the food turn directly to fat; if your body does not have time to burn the calories from supper that is exactly what happens. After dinner is also more relaxing because I believe that it is the time of the day when people are supposed to relax.
