workout after eating

Hi everyone,
can you guy answer the below question. i think is very helpful for beginner like me.

1) how long should we wait after eating before go to the gym?
2) it is recomend to go to the gym more than one time in one day?
3) many fitness gym have a steam room (hot temperature). should i go to that room. if so how often should i go in there and how long should i be in there?
4) after we ate our last meal of the day, how long we should wait to go to bed?

1 - depends on how dense the food is and how much you eat. I wouldn't have a protein shake made with water less than 30mins before working out, and 45mins if its with milk. If I'm going to eat a massive dinner, I'll make sure its 90mins before a workout and then have a small shake 30mins before.

2 - no, you wont be able to put the effort in. If you were a body builder and you were doing some isolation and you were experianced and on a mega high calorie diet then maybe. otherwise dont even think about it.

3 - All I know about steam rooms is that a, they dehydrate you and you'll loose water (bad idea if you have just been working out), and b, The heat opens up your pours so that they can get infected and you'll have bad spots.

4 - I have a fatty protein shake before bed. I drink it, brush my teeth and get into bed. If your eatting carbs before bed (which you shouldn't) it may be uncomfortable.

thank you for reply. i am curious about what type of protein shake and fatty protein shake you talking about can you recommend me one.

my goal now is to build up as much muscle as possible and also lose fat in my stomach and have a much cut.

usually when we talk about 'fatty protein shakes' its just a normal shake that we've added some fat too, usually natural peanut butter, fish oil, or flaxseed oil.

fats slow down digestion, so fat in a shake helps slow down the rather fast digesting whey protein.
 
thank you for all the wonderful advice. i will try fish oil. i make sure that i enough gap time between dinner and workout. Lewis suggest not to have carb before going to sleep. what is carb mean.

also, i currently taking protein supplement, from bally fitness. the supplement facts are:
calories 70,
------calories from fat 45.
total fat 5 g------ 7%
protein 6g--------12%
vitamin E5 IU ------17%

will this supplement is advise to take with fish oil. any suggestion with such supplement?

my goal again is to build a much muscle as possible, lose stomach fat, and get a much cut.

my weight is 143
my height is 5 ft 11.
