3 times a day (every morn, after work and before bed) i do

20 bicep curls
40 flat chest presses

"is this ok or is it a load of crap??"

The latter. Ok for what, though? Unless your goals are extremely limited, this probably won't get you to them.

ok firstly you shouldnt be doing it 3 times a day, you should be doing them as 3 sets instead. The number of reps sounds to high, im assuming you trying to gain strength or bulk?

You have to also be aware that you need to balance your body, looks as though you focusing to much on the chest side and neglecting the important scapular muscles.

I'm not really sure what your goal could be by that workout, read up on some of the stickies on this site and try to form a better workout plan (you'll need more equip. try a gym.) Until i know what your aim is i can't help much more than that, except to do more in one sitting but not the same workout as your doing. If you post your goal i can help alot more right now i'm just confused.... So to answer your question, its crap, sorry but it is......

mboylan86,

Do yourself a favor: read "Brother Iron, Sister Steel: A Bodybuilder's Book" by Dave Draper

Bodybuilding, Weight Training, Nutrition and Diet Guidelines from Mr. Universe Dave Draper

This is the best weight-training book I've ever read (& I've read quite a few & tried to read a few others & found doing so difficult)... this book is an easy read... it's concise & full of wisdom (Draper tells it like it is).

(I recommend this book to all interested in weight-training)
