Working with high and low weights

I do curls with dumbells and then go towards preacher curls then after that I do somthing called (15-9) I take a barbell and use a weight which I can do 15 times my partner who stands in front of me will take it once im done and do his 15 reps he then will pass it back to me and I will do my 14 reps then then he will do his 14 reps and we keep going until we both are down our last 9 reps which would be the 7th set. You barley have time to rest this excercise gives you a boost and when you leave the gym you wonte be able to feel your arms.

The thing is people are asking me could they still do this excercise and gain muscle? or is it for just getting cut? Because most ppl I know they do heavy 4 sets on their other 2 bicep excercises then do this to just tear their muscles apart.

why are you doing bicept curls when you could be focusing on good compound lifts?

is that the only lifting that you do?

Your routine should focus on squats, deads, benches, lunges, etc.

note the above post but i wouldn't do the 1st 2 exercises if your doing that you go, i go thing...can yeild a bit of both because of short rest but if wt is low compared to your other 2 exercises than not much at all really your just beating a dead horse

No no no u guys got it all wrong I do a split routine and I work out every part of the body Chest/tris-back/biceps-shoulders/forearms -Legs/abs But im just asking about these bicep workouts and asking if its ok to do high lifting then go down to this excercise with the barbell that I do. Or you could just give me better bicep excercises Thank you

even bodybuilders don't do that many sets/reps to build biceps.

9 sets of descending barbell curls starting at 15reps? sounds like an excellent way to destroy lean mass. won't do squat to build muscle, or to make it stronger...just trains you to do uselessly high reps of puny weights.
