im 13 about 150 pounds (not fat but not skinny) im 5'8
how long will it take me to get a six pack if i do 60 reps a day of abs???

You need to do cardio to burn the fat. Do you have access to a gym? If so, try a treadmill, bike or elliptical. If not, try jogging/running, or jump rope.

They say not to work the same muscle group every day. Do your abs every other day so they have time to rest. Also, be sure to do all the different muscles in the abdomen, and do your back, too.

i got a gym in my house so ill do arms 1 day then abs one day
is that ok?
and ill run for 10-20 mins a day
 
First of all, muscles never grow over fat. There reason you cannot see most people's abs is due to too much body fat....overtop the muscles. Lose body fat, see the muscle.

My advice - don't just work out abs and arms. Start a complete body routine. Your body's muscles work together in balance. Start building your entire body - chest, shoulders, arms, back, legs. Your abs will grow along with the rest of body. And if you have a low body fat %, you will see them........along with the rest of your muscles.
 
ok alot of ppl have the same idea u do which is just totally wrong! lower ur bf%! the way u do that is by dieting and cardio. cardio meaning running. running meaning interval training!!! eat right, do your cardio and do weights consisting of 3 sets of 12 reps! dont just do 10000000 abs exercises cos it wont work. i think running (interval training) is more effective on ur abs than doin sit ups!!!
 
dude, you need to get you bf% less than 8% that will show you abs for sure, you can make your exercise and if you have like 16% you will never see them, you have to combine them with exersice (cardio) and crunches, if you what bodybuilding you should measure your bf% if you have less that 12% you can start bulking (i recomendo not cardio, for all you calories consume in muscle growing and healing) eat 6 meals, the before 10 weeks of bulking you have to change yor diet to lose fat, that is called cutting lol, and that is basically bodybuilding is about...;)

WORK ALL MUSCLES IN YOUR BODY!!!

Did anyone heard of Janda situps?It can be done with a parnter however it is best done with a abs pavelizer

running helps create abs, but wont that also make you loose a lot of weight? what foods would you eat to put that weight back on?
