Work and eating right?

Hello!

I'm new to the forum and have a few questions about eating right. I'm trying to lose weight and am having a tough time eating my 5 meals a day because of work. My schedule consists of 5 days on and 2 days off, and 5 nights on 3 days off, this throws everything off. I get a pretty good workout at work, on an average I get about 3 miles of walking and some lifting is involved a day.

Any suggestions?

Pre-make your feedings. I work a 12-hour a day, three day a week schedule and when I'm on, I have zero time to cook, so I cook the day before.
 
Thanks for your suggestion. So eat as I would during a normal day shift? When I work nights it's from 6pm to 6am, that's what throws me off, I have to switch my diet every week.

Would eating through the night affect my results?
